Important Information & Preparation
Important: Retain for future reference. Read carefully.
Before beginning construction, check local building codes regarding foundations, location, and other requirements. Study and understand this manual for important information and helpful tips for easier and more enjoyable assembly.
Assembly Instructions: Review all instructions and appropriate information before starting. Ensure you follow the step sequence carefully for successful results.
Foundation & Location
Choose a square and level area with good drainage for the storage building.
A strong plastic sheet (minimum 150µm thickness) should be placed under the foundation to help reduce rising dampness from the soil, thereby reducing condensation build-up in the shed. Your storage building must be anchored to prevent wind damage. Once secured, it is highly recommended to apply silicone along the inside of the base rail to minimize condensation.
Parts & Parts List
Before starting, separate and identify all parts and hardware to ensure you have all necessary components. Refer to the Parts List page for details.
If a part is missing, notify the seller within one week of receiving the product. Do not attempt assembly if parts are missing, as a partially assembled building can be seriously damaged by light winds.
Safety First
- Select a dry and calm day for assembly. Teamwork (two or more people) is required.
- Wear safety gloves ?, eye protection ?, and long sleeves during assembly to prevent injuries. Pay attention to sharp edges on some parts.
- Children and pets are not allowed on the construction site ?.
- Never concentrate your total weight on the roof of the building. When using a step ladder, ensure it is safe ?.
Care & Maintenance
- Keep the shed clean with a soft cloth; use water if necessary.
- Keep door tracks clear of dirt and debris to ensure smooth sliding.
- Remove snow with necessary tools to ensure safe entry. Heavy snow can cause collapse; ensure safety before entering.
- The shed is designed for storage, not for living.
- Apply oil to the top and bottom door sliding channels for smooth operation.
