NVR Overview

Front Panel

Rear Panel

The rear panel of the NVR includes the following ports and controls:

Connecting the NVR System

Follow these steps to connect your NVR:

  1. Connect NVR to Router: Connect the NVR to your router using the provided Ethernet cable. (Diagram: Shows NVR connected via Ethernet cable to a router.)
  2. Connect Mouse and Monitor to NVR: Connect the USB mouse to a USB port on the NVR and the HDMI cable from the NVR to your monitor or TV. (Diagram: Shows USB mouse connected to NVR and HDMI cable from NVR to monitor.)
  3. Connect Cameras to NVR: Connect your PoE cameras to the NVR using Ethernet cables. Plug one end into the camera and the other into a PoE port on the NVR. (Diagram: Shows Ethernet cables running from cameras to the PoE ports on the NVR.)
  4. Connect to Power: Connect the power adapter to the NVR's power port and plug it into a wall outlet. Ensure there is at least 20 mm (0.78") clearance on the left and right sides of the NVR for adequate ventilation. (Diagram: Shows power adapter connected to NVR and wall outlet, with a note about ventilation.)

Setting Up NVR Access

You can access your NVR system in two ways:

Option A: Configure with Monitor/TV

Connect a monitor and mouse to the NVR and follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including basic settings, time, and network configuration.

Option B: Connect NVR with eufy App

  1. Download the eufy App: Search for and download the "eufy Security" app from the Apple App Store (? App Store) or Google Play Store (▶️ Google Play).
  2. Follow In-App Instructions: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. This typically involves:
    • Adding the NVR to your account.
    • Scanning the NVR's QR code.
    • Synchronizing the NVR with the app.
    • Pairing the NVR with your account.

  2. Ensure the connector is facing downwards to prevent water ingress.
  3. Install the waterproof cover and connect the camera using the Ethernet cable.
  4. Ensure the Ethernet cable is connected to the NVR.

Detailed Waterproof Connector Assembly:

  1. Ensure part A is pre-installed on the camera's PoE connector.
  2. Thread cable D through the connector parts.
  3. Connect the Ethernet cable to the camera's PoE connector.
  4. Connect part D to the camera's PoE connector and twist to lock.
  5. Insert C into D and then B to secure it to D.

(Diagram: Shows the step-by-step assembly of the waterproof cable connector. Note: The shape of the waterproof cover and connector may vary slightly.)

Step 9: Adjust Camera Field of View

  1. Remove the protective film from the camera lens.
  2. Rotate the camera to achieve the optimal viewing angle.
  3. Check the live transmission in the eufy app to confirm the view.

(Diagram: Shows hands adjusting the camera's angle, with an example of the view displayed on a phone screen.)
