Step 1: Hook-Up

Connecting Components

Linking Speakers: Connect multiple speakers together using appropriate cables for expanded sound coverage.
Connecting Sources: Connect microphones, instruments, and stereo signal sources to the input jacks.
Mounting: The speaker can be mounted on a standard microphone stand for optimal positioning.

Step 2: Controls

Front Panel Controls:

[? POWER LED]: Lights up when the speaker is turned on.
[?️ EQ]: Allows you to cut or boost treble, mid, and bass frequencies by ±15 dB for tonal shaping.
[? MAIN LEVEL]: Adjusts the overall volume of the speaker.
[⬆️ LEVEL 3]: Adjusts the input sensitivity (gain) for the CD INPUT RCA jacks.
[? CD INPUT]: RCA jacks for connecting CD players, MP3 players, DJ mixers, and other line-level sound sources.
[? MIC/LINE INPUTS (Channels 1 and 2)]: Combination jacks (XLR, 1/4" TRS, 1/4" TS) for connecting microphones and line-level signals.
[? INSTRUMENT]: Button to optimize the MIC/LINE 1 input for unbalanced signals from instruments using 1/4" TS plugs.
[?️ LEVEL 1/LEVEL 2]: Adjusts the input sensitivity for the MIC/LINE combination jacks.
[⚡ PHANTOM]: Sends 48V of phantom power to the MIC/LINE inputs for condenser microphones. The LED indicates when engaged.

Rear Panel Controls & Connections:

[? HEAT SINK]: Ensure adequate space behind the speaker for proper heat dissipation.
[? POWER SWITCH]: Turns the speaker on and off.
[? POWER SOURCE]: Connect the included IEC power cable here.
[➡️ THRU]: Routes a signal to another speaker or device using a balanced XLR or 1/4" TRS connection. This signal is taken before the MAIN LEVEL and EQ sections.
[?️ LEVEL (Thru)]: Adjusts the level of the outgoing THRU signal.
[⬅️ MAIN IN]: Connects the THRU signal from another speaker using a balanced XLR or 1/4" TRS plug.
