Safety Precautions
WARNING: To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, and to prevent damage to the meter or equipment, adhere to the following safety rules:
- Inspect the meter's exterior casing for damage before use. Do not use if damaged or if parts of the casing are missing.
- Inspect test leads for damaged insulation or exposed metal. Check test leads for continuity.
- Do not apply more than the rated voltage between terminals or between any terminal and grounding.
- Ensure the manual rotary switch is in the correct position before measurement and do not move it during measurement.
- Exercise special care when working with voltages over 60V DC or 30V RMS AC due to the risk of electric shock.
- Use the proper terminals, function, and range for your measurements.
- Do not use or store the meter in high-temperature, high-humidity, or strong magnetic field environments.
- Keep fingers behind the finger guards when using test leads.
- Disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before testing resistance, continuity, or diodes.
- Replace the battery as soon as the low battery indicator appears to avoid false readings.
- Disconnect test leads and turn off the meter before opening the case for servicing.
- Use only identical replacement parts for servicing.
- Do not alter the internal circuit of the meter.
- Clean the meter surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive materials or solvents.
- Turn off the meter when not in use and remove the battery if it will not be used for an extended period. Check for battery leaks and replace leaking batteries immediately.

Operation Instructions
Measuring Voltage
- Connect the Black test lead to the COM Jack and the Red test lead to the V Jack.
- Set the function switch to V~ (AC Voltage) or V⇌ (DC Voltage) range.
- Connect the test leads to the source or load to be measured.
- Read the LCD display. The polarity of the Red test lead will be indicated if it's a DC measurement.
Note: When measuring in a small range (e.g., mV), an unstable reading may appear when test leads are not connected to a load; this is normal. Do not measure voltages exceeding 600V DC or AC.
Measuring AC Current
- Set the function switch to the AC 200A or 400A range. Use the 2A or 20A range for improved resolution if needed.
- Press the trigger to open the transformer jaws and clamp around one conductor only.
- The displayed result is the AC Current.
Measuring Resistance
- Connect the Black test lead to the COM Jack and the Red test lead to the VΩ Jack.
- Set the function/range switch to the Ω range.
- Connect the test leads to the load being measured.
- Read the results on the display.
Note: High resistance measurements (>1 MΩ) may take time to stabilize. 'OL' indicates an over-range condition (open circuit). Ensure power is removed and capacitors are discharged before measuring in-circuit resistance.
Continuity Test
- Connect the Black test lead to the COM Jack and the Red test lead to the VΩ Jack.
- Set the function/range switch to the continuity range (indicated by a buzzer symbol).
- Press the Select Button to confirm continuity measurement mode. The continuity symbol (⏓) will appear on the display.
- Connect the test leads across the component or circuit to be tested.
- If the circuit resistance is below approximately 30 Ω, the built-in buzzer will sound.
Diode Test
- Connect the Black test lead to the COM Jack and the Red test lead to the VΩ Jack.
- Set the function/range switch to the diode test range (indicated by a diode symbol ⏓).
- Press the SELECT Button to select diode measurement mode. The diode symbol (⏓) will appear on the display.
- Connect the red test lead to the anode and the black test lead to the cathode of the diode.
- The meter will display the approximate forward voltage drop of the diode. If connections are reversed, 'OL' will be shown.
Auto Power Off
The meter automatically powers off after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. To turn it back on, rotate the range switch or press any button. Pressing the 'HOLD' button after power-off will disable the auto power-off function.
Battery Replacement
When the low battery symbol ('△') appears on the display, replace the batteries. Remove the screws on the back case, open it, and replace the two AAA 1.5V batteries.
Included in Box
