Warnings
To prevent personal injury such as burns or electric shock, and to prevent damage to the unit or the object being measured, please observe the following:
- Inspect the outer case before use. If the meter is damaged, do not use it and contact our support center.
- Check test leads for damage or breaks in the insulation layer and probes.
- Do not input power or current exceeding the maximum rated input value of the meter.
- Ensure the function switch is in the correct position before measurement. Do not switch the function switch during measurement.
- Exercise extreme caution when working with DC voltage above 60V or AC voltage above 30V (RMS), as there is a risk of electric shock.
- Confirm the function, range, and terminals before measuring.
- Avoid using or storing the unit in high-temperature environments or near strong magnetic fields, as this may degrade performance.
- During measurement, do not hold the test probe beyond the barrier towards the test pin.
- Before measuring resistance, continuity, or diodes, disconnect the circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors.
- Replace the battery immediately when the low power indicator is displayed, as inaccurate readings can lead to electric shock or injury.
- Before removing the meter's case, disconnect the test leads from the object being measured and turn off the power.
- When repairing or replacing parts, use only components with the same model number or electrical specifications.
- Do not modify the internal circuitry to avoid damage or accidents.
- Clean the unit's surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners or solvents that may cause corrosion or damage.
- When not in use for extended periods, turn off the unit and remove the batteries. Periodically check for battery leakage and replace if necessary to prevent damage to the unit.

Measurement Methods
Voltage Measurement
- Connect the red test lead to "VΩ" and the black test lead to "COM".
- Set the function switch to the "V~" or "V⏚" range.
- Connect the test leads to the circuit being measured.
- The voltage and polarity of the red test lead will be displayed.
Notes: a. When the range is small, the meter display may be unstable when the test leads are not connected to the measurement circuit. This is normal and does not affect measurements. b. To avoid damaging the unit, do not measure DC or AC voltages exceeding 600V depending on the measurement function.
AC Current Measurement
- Set the function switch to the AC 200 / 400A range. If one or more zeros are displayed before the decimal point on the display, turn to the 2 / 20A range.
- Press the opening lever to open the clamp sensor. Clamp the conductor (wire) to be measured as close to the center of the clamp sensor as possible. Ensure only one wire is clamped. Current measurement is not possible if two or more wires are clamped together, or if cables composed of multiple strands or parallel cords are clamped.
- The measured value will be displayed.
Resistance Measurement
- Connect the red test lead to "VΩ" and the black test lead to "COM". (The red test lead is the "+" pole)
- Select "Ω" on the function switch.
- Connect the test leads to the object or circuit being measured.
- The measured value will be displayed.
Notes: a. When measuring high resistance (1MΩ or more), it may take several seconds for the reading to stabilize, which is normal. b. When the test leads are connected to an open circuit without "INPUT" connected, "OL" or over-range will be displayed. c. Before measuring resistance in a circuit, turn off the power to the circuit and ensure any capacitors are fully discharged.
Continuity Check
- Connect the red test lead to "VΩ" and the black test lead to "COM". (The red test lead is the "+" pole)
- Select "⏚" on the function switch.
- Press the "Select" button to choose continuity check. The "⏚" mark will be displayed.
- Connect the test leads to the object or circuit being measured.
- If the circuit resistance is approximately 30Ω or lower, the built-in buzzer will sound.
Diode Measurement
- Connect the red test lead to "VΩ" and the black test lead to "COM". (The red test lead is the "+" pole)
- Select "⏚" on the function switch.
- Press the "Select" button to choose diode measurement. The "-" mark will be displayed.
- Connect the red test lead to the anode of the diode and the black test lead to the cathode.
- The meter will display the forward voltage drop of the diode. If the connection is reversed, "OL" will be displayed.
Auto Power Off
The power will automatically turn off after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity. To turn the unit back on, turn the function switch or press the "Select" or "Range" button.
After the unit automatically powers off, pressing the "HOLD" button to turn it on will disable the auto power-off function. Manually turning off the unit will re-enable the auto-off function.
Battery Replacement
When the "?" mark is displayed, replace the battery immediately. To replace the battery, remove the rubber sleeve and the screws on the back. This product uses 2xAAA, 1.5V batteries.
