Hardware Casting

Wireless HDMI Receiver and Transmitter, Plug and Play.

Pairing Instructions

The product is pre-paired. If pairing fails, follow these steps:

  1. Connect transmitter and receiver to devices.
  2. Long press Receiver's back button for 3 seconds. The TV will display "Release the button to pair with EZCast TX".
  3. Long press Transmitter's middle button for 3 seconds. When the indicator light is off, release the button. The indicator light will flash quickly after restarting, and the TV will show "Pairing-OK".

One Receiver can be matched with 8 Transmitters. Switch by pressing the Transmitter's middle button. Each Transmitter needs to be paired with the Receiver.

Setup for Android

Method 1 (No need to set Step 1):

  1. Open phone settings, find the 'Cast' function.
  2. Select 'MiraScreen' as the target. (Cast function name may vary by brand: HUAWEI: Multi-screen Interactive; Xiaomi: Cast; OnePlus: cast).

Method 2 (Use Google Home):

  1. Ensure phone WiFi and device are on the same Home network.
  2. Open Google Home, wait for it to search for the device (RX-Bxxxxx), and click to mirror. Refresh if not found.

Direct Connect for iOS

  1. Connect your iPhone to your home Wi-Fi. Ensure both dongle and phone are on the same Wi-Fi.
  2. If the dongle fails to set, use iPhone/iPad's WiFi settings to find and connect to the MiraScreen hotspot (RX-Bxxxxx, Password: 12345678).
  3. Slide to the control center, click "Airplay Mirroring", then select RX-BXXXXXX.

Setup for iOS

  1. Connect your iPhone to your home Wi-Fi. Ensure both dongle and phone are connected to the same Home Wi-Fi.
  2. If the dongle fails to set Step 1, use iPhone/iPad's Setting WiFi, find the Hot Spot of MiraScreen and connect it (RX-BXXXXX Password: 12345678).
  3. Slide Screen and go to Apple's control center, click "Airplay Mirroring", then select RX-BXXXXXX.

Connect to Home Router WiFi

When using for the first time, connect the device to your home router WiFi:

  1. On your phone, go to WiFi settings and connect to MiraScreen Wi-Fi (Name: RX-Bxxxxx, Default password: 12345678).
  2. Open a browser on your phone and input 192.168.203.1.
  3. Click 'Internet', choose your Home WiFi, input the password, and click 'Enter'.

This function applies to: iPhone/iPad/Android Devices.

Receiver-[RX] Connect Method

  1. Plug the external antenna into the Receiver and connect it to a TV or other HDMI input device.
  2. Plug the USB-C cable into a wall charger (5V/2A) or the TV's USB port.
  3. Switch the TV to the correct HDMI channel; a blue screen should appear.
  4. For first-time use, select the language by pressing the middle button of the Receiver, then long-press for 2-5 seconds to confirm. To change the language, long-press for 10 seconds to restore the system.

Transmitter-[TX] Connect Method

  1. Plug the Transmitter into a laptop or other HDMI output device.
  2. Plug the USB cable into a USB power port. The indicator light will turn on; wait 10 seconds for auto-sync.

Note: Some HDMI output ports can power the transmitter, eliminating the need for USB-C power.

Transmitter Indicator Status

  • Slow Flash: Disconnected
  • Fast Flash: Pairing
  • Always On: Connected
