Bypass Mode Topology

Port and Button
- RESET: Reset button, used to restore factory settings. Holding down for 10 seconds reverts to factory settings.
- WAN/PoE: 10/100/1000Mbps Base-T Ethernet Port, supports 802.3af/at PoE Input. Connect to a PoE switch supporting 802.3af output or an upstream switch.
- LAN: 10/100/1000Mbps Base-T Ethernet port. Connect to wired LAN devices like a PC.
- DC IN: 12V, 1A DC Input Port. Power the AP via a 12V DC adapter.
4. Device Installation
Ceiling Mounting
- Place the bracket in the center of the ceiling and mark screw hole positions and the Ethernet cable position.
- Drill holes at the marked positions using a hammer drill.
- Insert plastic anchors into the holes using a rubber hammer. Align the bracket's screw holes with the ceiling holes and secure the bracket with self-tapping screws.
- Power the AP by connecting a PoE switch to the WAN/PoE port or a power adapter to the DC Input port.
- Align the AP's slots with the bracket's hooks. Push the AP until it is securely fixed.
5. Power Supply
Power via PSE Device
The APs can be powered via a PoE switch that supports 802.3at PoE output. Connect the PoE switch to the AP's WAN/PoE port.
Power via Power Adapter
Some APs can be powered via a power adapter that supports 12V DC output. Connect the power adapter to the DC Input port.
6. Configuration Method
Method 1: Connect via Wireless Signal
- Connect your computer to the wireless signal of the AP. The default SSID is "WI-TEK xxxx".
- The default password is "88888888".
Method 2: Connect via Ethernet Cable
- Connect your computer to the AP using an Ethernet cable.
- Step 1: On your computer, set a static IP address within the same subnet as the AP (e.g., 192.168.1.xx).
- Step 2: Launch a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox) and navigate to 192.168.1.88.
- The default login username is "admin" and the password is "admin".
- Step 3: After logging in, navigate to [Wizard] on the left-side menu to set up the access point.
- Step 4: Select the appropriate operation mode (Fit AP Mode or Wireless Router Mode) and follow the wizard instructions.
Note: Resetting the AP will revert it to Fit AP Mode.
- Fit AP Mode: Default Login IP: 192.168.1.88, Credentials: admin/admin.
- Wireless Router Mode: Default Login IP: 192.168.11.1, Credentials: admin/admin.
7. Cloud Management Settings
- Launch your web browser and enter http://cloud2.wireless-tek.com.
- Register an account using your username or email and password.
- Log in to your cloud account.
- Click "ADD NETWORK".
- Fill in the group name and location, then click "save".
- Click "next".
- Enter the device's serial number (17-digit SN code found on the device sticker) and click "ADD". Click "FINISH" to complete the configuration.
- In the device options, you can see the bound device information.
- Click "Tunnel", select the binding device type, and click "EWEB" to log in to the device.
8. FAQ
Q1. The LED is not lit.
A1: Check if the PoE switch supports 802.3af/at.
A2: Ensure the PoE switch is outputting the correct voltage.
A3: Verify the Ethernet cable supports PoE function.
Q2. What can I do if the login window does not appear?
A1: Ensure your computer has a static IP address in the 192.168.1.xxx range.
A2: Try using a different web browser.
A3: Reboot your AP device and try again.
A4: Disconnect the internet connection, log in, and then reconnect to the internet.
