2. Appearance Overview
LED Indicators
Indicator | Status | Description |

Ports and Buttons

DC | DC Input: 12V, 0.5A. Power the AP via a 12V DC power adapter. |
Note: The WAN/PoE port also functions as a 12V DC Input Port.
3. Typical Connection
Bypass mode topology: A PoE switch is connected to the AP's WAN/PoE port.
AC Gateway mode topology: A router is connected to the AP's WAN/PoE port, and the AP provides Wi-Fi access.
4. Device Installation
Ceiling Mounting
- Place the mounting bracket in the center of the ceiling. Mark the positions for the screw holes and the Ethernet cable opening.
- Drill holes at the marked positions using a hammer drill.
- Insert the plastic anchors into the drilled holes using a rubber hammer. Align the screw holes in the bracket with the holes in the ceiling and secure the bracket using the self-tapping screws.
- Power the AP by connecting a PoE switch to the WAN/PoE port or a 12V DC power adapter to the DC Input port.
- Align the slots on the AP with the hooks on the bracket. Push the AP to one side until it is securely fixed.
5. Power Supply
Power via PSE Device: The APs can be powered via a PoE switch that supports 8002.3af PoE output.
Power via Power Adapter: Some APs can be powered via a 12V DC power adapter.
6. Configuration Method
Method 1: Connect via Wireless
Connect your computer to the AP's wireless signal. The default SSID is "WI-TEK xxxx" and the default password is "88888888".
Method 2: Connect via Ethernet Cable
- On your computer, set a static IP address within the same subnet as the AP (e.g., 192.168.1.xx).
- Launch a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox) and enter
192.168.1.88
in the address bar. The default login username is "admin" and the password is "admin". - After logging in, navigate to [Wizard] in the left-side menu to set up the access point.
- Select the appropriate operation mode:
- Fit AP Mode: Choose this if a router already exists in your network. Default Login IP:
192.168.1.88
(admin/admin). - Wireless Router Mode: Choose this if no router exists. Default Login IP:
192.168.11.1
(admin/admin).
- Fit AP Mode: Choose this if a router already exists in your network. Default Login IP:
7. Cloud Management Settings
- Launch your web browser and enter
http://cloud2.wireless-tek.com
in the address bar. - Register an account using your username or email address.
- Log in to your cloud account with the registered credentials.
- After successful login, follow these steps to bind the device to your cloud account:
- Click "ADD NETWORK".
- Fill in the group name and location, then click "save".
- Click "next".
- Enter the device's serial number (the 17-digit SN code is on the sticker on the back of the device), click "ADD" to create the network, and then click "FINISH". The configuration is complete.
- You can view the bound device information in the relevant device options.
- Click "Tunnel", select the binding device type, and click "EWEB" to log in to the device.
8. FAQ
Q1. The LED is not lit.
A1: Please check if the PoE switch is 8002.3af/at compliant.
A2: Ensure the PoE switch is outputting the correct voltage.
A3: Verify that the Ethernet cable supports PoE functionality.
Q2. What can I do if the login window does not appear?
A1: Check if your computer has a static IP address set in the 192.168.1.xxx range.
A2: Try using a different web browser.
A3: Reboot your AP device and try again.
A4: Disconnect the internet connection temporarily, try logging in, and then reconnect to the internet.
