ANCEL FX2000 Upgrade Guide
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for upgrading the ANCEL FX2000 scan tool using Method 2, which involves a USB Cable connection. Method 1, via TF Card, is also mentioned.
Step 1: Prepare for Upgrade
Before starting the upgrade process, connect the ANCEL FX2000 device to a computer using the USB cable. Ensure a stable network connection. The system supports Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10 operating systems.

Download the necessary update software onto your computer from the ANCEL website. The download page is located at: https://anceltech.com/support/download.

Locate and click on the downloaded software to begin the installation of the update tool.

After installation, find the "Product Update Tool" software on your computer and open it.

In the "Select Device" window, choose the "USB" connection mode and click "OK". The "Product Serial Number" will be automatically detected. Then, click the "Device Upgrade" button.

Proceed to the registration page. Enter your email address. The "Register Code" should be read automatically. Click "Submit" to complete the registration.

In the upgrade tool, select "Select All" [✓] to choose all available software updates. Click the "Download" button to begin the download process.

Once both progress bars reach 100%, the upgrade is complete. Click "Quit" to exit the tool and disconnect the USB cable.

To verify if your ANCEL FX2000 has the latest software, connect it to a computer and open the update tool. Compare the "Local Version" with the "Latest Version" listed for each software package. If they match, the software is up-to-date.
