Chapter 1: Item in the Box
You will see the following items when opening the box:
- RP582B 802.11ax router/extender: 1
- Power adaptor (DC IN: 12V/2A): 1
The box contains a tall, slender, dark-colored electronic device identified as the RP582B 802.11ax router/extender, and a power adapter with a cable and plug.
Chapter 2: Prepare to Power On
Follow these steps to prepare the device for power on:
- Connect the WAN cable to the RJ45 port (Internet).
- Connect the LAN cable to the RJ45 port (Ethernet).
- Connect the power adaptor DC plug to the RP582B Power connector, and then connect the power adaptor to an AC Plug.

- Top: Features a Venting Outlet.
- Left Side: Shows the Left Cover, made of black plastic with MT11020 treatment.
- Middle Section: Shows the Mid Cover, made of black plastic with MT11020 treatment.
- Right Side: Displays the Right Cover (black plastic, MT11020 treatment), Indicators (LEDs), and the I/O Interface (ports).
- Bottom: Features a Venting Inlet.
Chapter 3: LED Behavior When Boot Up
LED Color: Blue
LED State: Solid
The LED will change to a green breathing pattern (indicating it is searching for an internet connection) after the device has booted.
The LED will turn off once the Internet connection is successfully established.
