- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord or plug in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Chefman Customer Support.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Place the unit on a flat, sturdy, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the unit near or on any type of heat source, such as a gas or electric burner, stove, or oven, even if not on.
- Do not use near an open flame or flammable materials.
- The unit will emit some heat. Allow sufficient space around the unit when in use and do not place near other items or appliances.
- Check that your home power supply corresponds with the intended voltage of the air fryer.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance during use or storage; this may cause the wire to fray and break.
- This product is not a deep fryer. It is NOT meant to be filled with oil. Never fill any parts of the air fryer with oil. If you choose to use oil, toss food with oil in a separate bowl and then transfer food to the removable racks or basket.
- Do not leave uncooked ingredients in the air fryer for more than a short period of time before cooking; raw meat, poultry, fish, fruits, and vegetables can spoil.
- Do not move the air fryer while it is full of food.
- Do not move the unit during use. During initial use, you may notice some smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly dissipate. It should not happen after the appliance has been used a few more times.
- Do not leave the air fryer unattended during use.
- Some areas do get HOT during use, and the touch screen may get warm. Do not touch the heating elements. Do not place hands or other body parts near the air vents while the air fryer is in use; burns may result. Take caution when handling the hot air fryer rack and all removable parts.

Polarized Plug Warning
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way or force it into the outlet. This could result in injury or electric shock.
Short-Cord Instructions
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards of entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
- The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
Power-Cord Safety Tips
- Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
- To insert the plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into the outlet.
- To disconnect the appliance, grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet.
- Before each use, inspect the power cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, please contact Chefman Customer Support for assistance.

How to Cook in the TurboFry Touch Air Fryer
The air fryer uses a high-speed fan to cook food quickly, allowing air to circulate for even cooking and crisping, while excess fat drips away.
CAUTION: Never fill the basket with oil. Air fryers require little to no oil for a crisp texture. If using oil, toss food with a small amount in a separate bowl before placing it in the basket.
- Prepare the food you plan to air fry.
- Place the air fryer on a hard, flat surface with at least 6 inches of clearance on the top and back for proper airflow. Plug the unit into an outlet. The control panel will illuminate, and the default temperature and time will alternate on the display.
- Lower the rack into the basket with the arrows pointing towards the handle. Press down on the rack to ensure it is secure and level. There should be a small space between the rack and the bottom of the basket. For easier handling, pinch the center grip bar of the rack.
- Place the food on the rack. Do not fill the basket past the MAX line to ensure good air circulation.
- Slide the basket into the air fryer.
- Set the desired time and temperature, or select a cooking preset by pressing the corresponding icon. To manually set time or temperature, press the TIME/TEMP button until the desired display appears, then use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons.
- Press START. The fan will activate, and the dash display will show animated circular dashes. NOTE: You can remove the basket during cooking to check, turn, or shake food. The timer and heating will resume automatically when the basket is returned.
- During cooking, the SHAKE light will illuminate, and the air fryer may beep as a reminder to shake or flip food. (Refer to the Air Frying Chart for specific timing.) The light turns off when the basket is removed and will automatically turn off after approximately 15 seconds if the basket is not pulled out. Ignore the warning if shaking or flipping is not necessary for your food.
- When the timer is complete, the air fryer will turn off automatically. Remove the basket and serve. Check food for doneness. NOTE: A slight odor may be emitted during the first use, which is normal and will dissipate.

Air Fryer Cooking Tips
- Preheat: Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes before cooking for faster cooking and crispier results. Add a few minutes to cooking time if the unit is cold. CAUTION: Be careful when adding food after preheating, as the interior will be hot.
- Oil Usage: For a crisp exterior, lightly oil foods. Some fresh foods benefit from being tossed with a little oil in a separate bowl. High-fat foods or prepared foods may not require additional oil.
- Batters: Avoid wet batters, as they tend to slide off. Adapt recipes for a thicker coating, preferably with breadcrumbs, to help adherence.
- Temperature: Use medium-high to high heat (325°F to 400°F) for most cooking. Use lower temperatures for gentler cooking and reheating to prevent overcooking.
- Basket Capacity: Do not overcrowd the basket, as this can inhibit browning and crisping. Fry food in batches for best results.
- Shaking/Flipping: Shake the basket during cooking for even results, especially for smaller items like fries or wings. For larger or fragile foods, gently toss or flip.
- Checking Food: Check foods early in the cooking process. You can always slide the basket back in to continue cooking.
- Food Safety: Follow food-safety guidelines for doneness, as air fryer temperatures and food sizes can vary. Do not rely solely on recipe timing.
Troubleshooting
Why is there white smoke coming from my unit?
White smoke may indicate too much fat in the fryer. Avoid cooking very fatty foods, and ensure the basket, rack, and interior are clean before cooking.
Why has my food cooked unevenly?
Uneven cooking is often due to overcrowding the basket or not shaking/flipping the food. Fill the basket loosely and shake, toss, or flip foods at least once during cooking.
Why isn't my food crisp?
Coating foods very lightly with oil (about ½ teaspoon per batch) can help ensure crisp results, even without added oil. Preheating the air fryer also contributes to crispiness.
Why is the unit displaying an error code?
If your air fryer displays E1 or E2, it indicates a loose wire contact or a short circuit. Contact Chefman Customer Support for assistance or a replacement.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The nonstick coating on the basket and rack makes cleaning easy.
- Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. For faster cooling, remove the hot basket.
- To remove the rack from the basket, pinch the center grip bar at the bottom of the basket and pull the rack straight up. WARNING: Do not lift the rack out of the basket when hot, as injury can occur.
- Wash the basket and rack with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry well with a towel. The basket and rack are also top-rack dishwasher-safe.
- Wipe the exterior and interior of the unit with a damp cloth as needed. Do not put the unit in the dishwasher or submerge it in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers, as they can damage the finishes.
