- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Chefman Customer Support.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Place the unit on a flat, sturdy, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the unit near or on any type of heat source, such as a gas or electric burner, stove, or oven, even if not on. Do not use near an open flame or flammable materials.
- The unit will emit some heat. Allow sufficient space around the unit when in use, and do not place near other items or appliances.
- Check that your home power supply corresponds with the intended voltage of the TurboFry Touch Dual Window Air Fryer.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance during use or storage; this may cause the wire to fray and break.
- This product is not a deep fryer. It is not meant to be filled with oil. Never fill any parts of the air fryer with oil. If you choose to use oil, toss food with oil in a separate bowl, and then transfer food to the removable racks or baskets.

Polarized Plug & Short Cord Instructions
WARNING: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way or force it into the outlet. This could result in injury or electrical shock.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards of entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
- The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop, where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
Power Cord Safety Tips
- Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
- To insert the plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into the outlet.
- To disconnect the appliance, grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet.
- Never use the product if the power cord shows signs of abrasion or excessive wear. Contact Chefman Customer Support for additional guidance and support.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE IF THE POWER CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE OR IF THE APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.

Operating Instructions
Before First Use
For best results, follow these steps before using your air fryer for the first time:
- Remove all packaging materials, such as plastic bags and foam inserts.
- Check to ensure that all parts and accessories are accounted for.
- Read and remove any stickers on the unit except for the rating label on the bottom, which should remain on the unit.
- Wipe down the interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
- Wash the baskets and racks with warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
Prepare to Cook
The air fryer's high-speed fans cook food quickly. The rubber feet on the racks elevate them for air circulation, promoting even cooking and crisping. The racks also allow excess fat to drip down for healthier eating.
CAUTION: Never fill the baskets with oil. Air fryers require little to no oil for a crisp texture. If using oil, toss foods with a small amount in a separate bowl before placing them in the air fryer.
- Prepare the food(s) you plan to air fry.
- Place the air fryer on a hard, flat surface and plug it in. The control panel will illuminate. Press the [Button 1] to activate basket 1, or the [Button 2] to activate basket 2, for setting cooking time and temperature.
How to Cook in One Basket
You can easily cook in just one basket, even with the dual-basket design.
- Prepare air fryer for cooking and activate a single basket as directed above.
- Set the time and temperature of the active basket: Press the TEMP button to set temperature, then use the plus or minus sign. Press the TIME button to set time, then use the plus or minus sign.
- Press START. The interior light will cycle on and off during cooking.
CAUTION: Do not look directly into the heating element light for long periods of time.
During cooking, the SHAKE light will turn on, and the air fryer will beep as a reminder to shake or flip food. The light turns off when the basket is removed or after 1 minute if not removed. If your food does not need shaking, ignore the warning.
When the timer is done, the air fryer will beep three times and turn off automatically, displaying the READY light. Remove the basket, check food for doneness, and if needed, press the +2 MIN button. Carefully transfer food to plates.
NOTE: While one basket is cooking, you can begin cooking in the other basket at any time. SYNC BASKETS and SYNC FINISH functions will not be available. Simply press the other basket's button and set its time and temperature, then press START.
How to Cook Using Sync Baskets
The SYNC BASKETS button allows both baskets to cook simultaneously with the same time and temperature.
- Prepare to cook and activate basket 1.
- Set its time and temperature: Press TEMP to set temperature, then use +/-. Press TIME to set time, then use +/-.
- Press the SYNC BASKETS button. The time and temperature from basket 1 will be applied to basket 2.
- Press START. The interior light will cycle on and off during cooking.
- If one basket's time or temperature is adjusted, the other will automatically match. Pressing HI-FRY or +2 MIN will break the sync.
- During cooking, SHAKE lights will turn on, and the air fryer will beep as a reminder to shake or flip food. When one basket is removed, both sides pause until it's returned. The SHAKE light turns off immediately when the basket is removed or after 1 minute if not pulled out. Ignore the alert if no shaking is needed.
- When the timer is done, the air fryer beeps three times, turns off, and READY lights display. Remove baskets, check food, and if needed, press +2 MIN. Transfer food to plates.
How to Cook Using Sync Finish
The SYNC FINISH button programs two foods with different cooking times/temperatures to finish at the same time. It delays the start of the basket with the shorter cook time.
- Prepare to cook and activate basket 1.
- With both baskets in place, set the time and temperature for basket 1 using the TEMP and TIME buttons and +/-.
- Press the [Button 2], then set the time and temperature for basket 2 similarly.
- Press the SYNC FINISH button, then press START. The air fryer begins cooking with the longer time, delaying the other basket until it's time to finish together. The waiting basket will display HOLD.
- During cooking, SHAKE lights will turn on for both baskets, and the air fryer will beep as a reminder to shake or flip food. When one basket is removed, both sides pause until it's returned. The SHAKE light turns off immediately when the basket is removed or after 1 minute if not pulled out. Ignore the alert if no shaking is needed.
- If a timer is adjusted while a basket is waiting, the sync remains if the shorter time is not increased above the longer time. Adjusting timers while both sides are cooking (including +2 MIN or HI-FRY) will break the sync.
- When the timer is done, the air fryer beeps three times, turns off, and READY lights display. Remove baskets, check food, and if needed, press +2 MIN. Transfer food to plates.
Special Functions
HI-FRY BUTTON
The HI-FRY button illuminates partway through cooking. When pressed, it raises the cooking temperature to 450°F (235°C) for 2 minutes for additional browning. In Sync modes, pressing HI-FRY on one side raises only that basket's temperature and breaks the sync.
+2 MIN BUTTON
This button lights up near the end of the cooking cycle. Pressing it adds 2 more minutes of cooking time at the current temperature. It can be pressed multiple times. In Sync modes, pressing +2 MIN breaks the sync.
Muting Sounds
The unit beeps to alert you to flip food or that cooking is complete. Press the MUTE button (the word OFF will illuminate) to mute these beeps. Press again to turn sound back on.
Air Fryer Cooking Tips
- Crisp Exterior: For a crisp exterior, lightly oil foods. Some foods benefit from being tossed with a little oil in a separate bowl before frying. High-fat foods or prepared foods may not require additional oil.
- Avoid Wet Batters: Loose batters used for deep frying do not work well in air fryers. Adapt recipes for a thicker coating, preferably with breadcrumbs.
- Heat Levels: Use medium-high to high heat (375°F-400°F / 190°C-205°C) for most cooking. Use lower temperatures for gentler cooking and reheating.
- Don't Overcrowd: Too much food, especially if tightly packed, can inhibit browning and crisping. Fry food in batches for better results.
- Shake Baskets: Shaking baskets during cooking is beneficial for smaller items like fries or chicken wings. For larger or fragile foods, gently toss or flip.
- Check Foods Early: Check foods on the earlier side of the cooking time; you can always slide the basket back in to continue cooking.
- Food Safety: Follow food-safety guidelines for doneness. Air fryer temperatures and food sizes vary, so do not rely solely on recipe timing. Check foods for doneness against current safety guidelines before serving.
- Preheat: While not necessary, preheating the unit can cook foods faster and promote crisp results. CAUTION: Be careful when adding food after preheating, as the interior will be hot.
Troubleshooting
- White Smoke: May indicate too much fat in the fryer. Avoid very fatty foods and ensure baskets, racks, and interior are clean.
- Uneven Cooking: Likely due to overcrowding or not shaking. Fill baskets loosely for air circulation and shake/toss/flip food at least once during cooking.
- Not Crisp: Lightly coating food with oil (approx. 1/2 teaspoon per batch) helps guarantee crisp results. Preheating also helps.
- Error Codes (E1 or E2): Indicates a loose wire contact or short circuit. Contact Chefman Customer Support for replacement.
- Missing Rack Foot: Rack feet are removable. Contact Chefman Customer Support for a replacement if one is lost.
- Interior Light Off: The interior light cycles on and off with the heating element. If it turns off mid-cycle, the unit is still working.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The nonstick coating makes cleaning easy. Follow these steps:
- Unplug the unit and let it cool completely before cleaning. (For faster cooling, remove hot baskets.)
- To remove cooled racks: Pinch the center grip bar and pull the rack straight up and out of the basket. WARNING: Do not lift the rack out when hot, as injury can occur.
- Wash baskets and racks with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry well. They are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the exterior and interior with a damp cloth as needed. Do not put the unit in the dishwasher or submerge it in water. Do not use window cleaner on windows.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers on baskets, racks, or the interior/exterior of the appliance, as this could damage finishes.
