Connections
Connecting the USB Cable
Use the included USB-C to USB-A cable to connect the headset's USB-C port to your device's USB-A port (e.g., computer, gaming console). For devices with USB-C ports, use a suitable USB-A to USB-C adapter or cable.
Once connected, the system will automatically install the necessary driver. If this does not happen automatically, select the MMX 200 wireless as your audio input and output device on your system.
Connecting the Jack Cable
Connect the headset's USB-C port to your device's 3.5mm 4-pole jack using a USB-C to 3.5mm jack cable (not included). The headset must be powered on to use the analog mode.
When connecting to a computer, verify your audio settings and select your computer's sound card as the audio input and output device.
Caution: Only connect the jack cable to a headphone output. Connecting to any other output may damage the headset.
Charging
Fully charge the headset battery before first use. Connect the headset's USB-C port to a standard USB charger or computer USB port using the USB cable.
The LED indicator pulses green while charging. When the battery is discharged, the LED indicator flashes red. The headset is shipped with approximately 60% battery charge. For battery protection, it is recommended not to charge the headset continuously for more than 30 hours.
Ensure the USB-C connector is firmly inserted into the headset. Carefully pull the connector to detach it after charging or when switching cables.

Operation
Adjusting Volume
To increase volume, rotate the control dial upwards. To decrease volume, rotate the control dial downwards.
Activating/Deactivating Microphone
Press the button briefly to mute the microphone. A red light will illuminate on the microphone and around the button. Press the button again to unmute; the red light will turn off.
Transparent Mode
In Transparent Mode, the headset behaves like acoustically open headphones, allowing you to hear ambient sounds and your own voice more naturally. To activate/deactivate Transparent Mode, press and hold the control dial for approximately 2 seconds until an audible notification is heard. Active Transparent Mode is indicated by a turquoise flashing LED.
USB Low Latency Mode
This mode provides wireless connection via the USB Low Latency (LL) adapter, suitable for devices with USB connection like PCs, PlayStation®, and Nintendo Switch™. It offers low latency ideal for gaming.
If the headset is in Bluetooth mode, press the mode button twice to activate USB LL mode. If you lose the USB adapter, a new one must be paired with the headset. More information is available at support.beyerdynamic.com.
Bluetooth Mode
To use Bluetooth, the headset must be paired with a Bluetooth-compatible device (e.g., phone, laptop). Pairing procedures may vary by device; consult your Bluetooth device's manual.
If the headset is in USB LL mode, press the mode button three times to activate Bluetooth mode. Select "MMX 200 wireless" from your device's Bluetooth settings. Once connected, audio and telephony functions can be controlled via the mode button. Refer to the "Function Controls" table for details.
Hybrid Mode
In Bluetooth mode, you can simultaneously connect the headset via a jack cable to an analog audio output (e.g., controller). Audio signals from the Bluetooth device and the analog device are mixed 50/50.
While in Bluetooth mode, connect the headset to the device's headphone output using the analog jack cable. If the cable is disconnected, the headset switches back to Bluetooth mode or USB LL mode if no active BT connection exists. If the Bluetooth device is disconnected, the headset switches to analog cable connection. Volume can be controlled directly on the connected devices.
