Buttons and Ports Labeled
The FiiO CP13 features several controls and connection points:
Top Panel Controls:
- Stop: Square button to halt playback or fast winding.
- Fast Forward: Button with double right-pointing arrows to advance the tape quickly.
- Fast Rewind: Button with double left-pointing arrows to rewind the tape quickly.
- Play: Button with a single right-pointing arrow to start playback.
- Cassette Door: The mechanism to open and close for inserting/removing tapes.
Front Panel Features:
- Cassette Window: An opening to view the cassette tape inside.
Side Panel Features:
- Volume Knob: A rotary control to adjust the audio volume.
- Charging Indicator Light: An LED that shows charging status.
- USB Port: Labeled "POWER IN", used for charging the device.
- 3.5mm Headphone Out: Port for connecting headphones.
Take out and Put in the Cassette
To insert or remove a cassette tape:
- Open the front cassette door.
- Place the cassette in the correct orientation, or remove it.
- Close the cassette door securely.

Charging
The CP13 is charged via its USB port labeled "POWER IN". It is recommended to use a 5V 2A power adapter for charging.
The charging indicator light provides status:
- Red Light On: The battery is currently charging.
- Green Light On: The battery is fully charged.
- Light Off: The device is not in a charging state.
Button Operation
- Play: Press the Play button. The left spindle will rotate, and playback will begin if a cassette is inserted.
- Fast Forward: Press the Fast Forward button. The left spindle rotates rapidly to move the tape forward quickly. No audio is output during this mode.
- Fast Rewind: Press the Fast Rewind button. The right spindle rotates rapidly to rewind the tape quickly. No audio is output during this mode.
- Stop: Press the Stop button during playback, fast forward, or fast rewind to halt the device. The button will return to its original position after being released.
- Volume Knob: Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
Notes and Precautions
- Battery Safety: Do not expose the battery to high temperatures, water, or allow it to swell. Do not disassemble, hit, crush, puncture, or incinerate the battery.
- Device Environment: Avoid placing the device in environments with extreme temperatures (above 45°C or below 0°C), or enclosed high-temperature areas like cars.
- Maintenance: Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the product yourself. Keep the device away from water.
- Long-Term Storage: If the device will be unused for an extended period, recharge it periodically to maintain battery health.
- Situational Awareness: Be mindful that using headphones may reduce awareness of your surroundings. Exercise caution in dangerous situations.
- Charger Compatibility: Use a suitable charger to prevent potential damage from high-voltage adapters.
- Magnetic Interference: Keep the product away from magnetic objects to prevent operational issues or irreversible damage.
