Instructions during Installation

  • Please keep Power Off before any operations to avoid danger. Strictly follow all safety precautions outlined in this manual and safety labels on the equipment.
  • The Lynx C Series Rechargeable Li-ion Battery System for Commercials and Industries (hereinafter referred to as the Lynx C BS in short) is a high voltage system. Do not touch or operate it. Keep away from it. Only professionals are allowed!
  • Please use appropriate tools and take protective measures when installing and maintaining heavy equipment. Improper operations will cause personal injuries.
  • Do not use the battery module or Power Control Unit (PCU in short) if it is defective, broken, or damaged.
  • Do not disassemble, modify, or replace any part of the battery module or PCU without official authorization from the manufacturer.
  • Pay attention to the negative and positive during installation to avoid reverse polarity connection. Otherwise the short circuit may cause personal injuries and equipment damage.

Emergency Measures

Damaged battery modules may leak electrolyte. Do not contact with the liquid leakage or volatile gas. Please contact After-sales Service for help immediately.

  • Inhalation: Evacuate from the contaminated area, and seek immediate medical assistance.
  • Eye contact: Rinse your eyes for at least 15 minutes with clean water and seek immediate medical assistance.
  • Skin contact: Thoroughly wash the touch area with soap and clean water, and seek immediate medical assistance.
  • Ingestion: Induce vomiting, and seek immediate medical assistance.

Check before Power ON

Space Requirements

Ensure the following clearances around the battery system for proper ventilation and access:

  • Front: 600mm
  • Rear: 300mm
  • Left Side: 600mm
  • Right Side: 600mm

Angle Requirements

The battery system should be installed on a level surface. No specific angle requirements are indicated, implying a vertical, upright installation.

BS Installation

Follow these steps for the Battery System (BS) installation:

  1. Step 1: Position the battery cabinet.
  2. Step 2: Install the battery modules into the cabinet. This involves sliding modules into designated slots.
  3. Step 3: Secure the battery modules. Ensure a gap of 30-100mm between modules if multiple are installed side-by-side or stacked, as indicated by the diagram.

  1. Step 4: Connect internal components. This includes connecting power and communication cables between battery modules and the PCU. Torque specifications for M6 screws are 4.5-6 N·m.
  2. Step 5: Install the Power Control Unit (PCU) and connect it to the battery modules and external power/communication interfaces. The diagram shows numbered connection points and components within the cabinet.
