Intended Use

The Etac My-Loo with brackets is a toilet seat raiser designed to facilitate toilet use by persons with restricted mobility. It is fitted directly onto the toilet, with the existing toilet seat lifted or removed. The Etac My-Loo is intended for use in home environments and similar.

Etac My-Loo may not be used in any other way than above stated.

Contraindications

Users with extensive balance problems should consider using a toilet seat raiser with arm support.

The product conforms to the requirements of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

Delivery Contents & Installation

Delivery Contents

The delivery includes the Etac My-Loo seat raiser and mounting brackets.

Installation

Fit the mounting brackets to the seat raiser.
Place the seat raiser onto the toilet bowl.
Press the brackets firmly against the toilet bowl to secure the seat raiser. Ensure it is centered on the toilet.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Disinfection

Clean the product with standard non-abrasive cleaning agents (pH value between 5-9). Rinse and dry.
Disinfect the product with 70% alcohol-based disinfectant.
The product is otherwise maintenance-free.
The product can withstand cleaning in a sterilizer at 85°C for 3 minutes. This applies for reconditioning.
Materials used are resistant to all general disinfectants.

Safety

Maximum user weight: 190 kg (418 lbs).
Defective or incorrectly installed products must not be used.

In case of an adverse event, report incidents promptly to your local dealer and the competent national authority. The dealer will forward information to the manufacturer.

The product's date of manufacture can be read from the barcode on the product. The number 11 is shown below the barcode in brackets. The number combination after these brackets is the date of manufacture.

Storage

Store the product indoors in a dry place at a temperature above 5°C. If stored for a long time (more than four months), its function must be checked by an expert before use.
