Etac My-Loo Reconditioning and Re-use Instructions

General Information

The Etac My-Loo is suitable for re-use. Always use original spare parts from Etac. Remember that the product has a limited service life (refer to the manual). This is particularly important when prescribing the product to a user who is expected to use it for an extended period.

Washing

The product can withstand cleaning in a cabinet dish disinfector at 85°C for 3 minutes.

Clean the product with standard cleaning agents without abrasives (pH value between 5-9). Rinse and dry. Disinfect the product with 70% disinfectant alcohol.

Component Inspection and Reconditioning

The following components should be inspected for cracks or damage and their function verified:

1. Raiser: Check for cracks or damages.
2. Lid: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the lid is properly fixed and can be folded.
3. Friction pieces: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the friction pieces are properly fixed and intact.
4. Raiser fixing: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the raiser is fixed and can be folded up and down.
5. Arm supports: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the arm support can be folded up and down.
6. Height control: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the height control can be adjusted between positions 1 and 3.
7. Assembly nut: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the assembly nut can be tightened.
8. Sleeve: Check for cracks or damages.
9. Bushing: Check for cracks or damages.
10. Locking handle: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the locking handle is fixed.
11. Cover: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the cover can be clicked into place.
12. Cover holder: Check for cracks or damages.
13. Cover, arm support holder: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the cover can be clicked into place.
14. Holster cover: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the cover is fixed.
15. Attachment: Check for cracks or damages.
16. Support leg: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the support leg attachment is intact and fixed. Verify that the parallel rod has no damages and is properly fixed. Verify that the parallel rod attachment has no damages and is properly fixed.
17. Support leg, adjustable ferrule: Check for cracks or damages. Verify that the adjustable ferrule has no damages and can be adjusted.
18. Screw kit for top mounting: Check for cracks or damages in screws, washers, spacers and plugs. Verify that screw and plug can be mounted.
