Product Overview
The Etac Hi-Loo with brackets is a toilet seat raiser designed for use on the toilet bowl. It has been developed to facilitate toilet use by persons who have restricted mobility and who need a raised toilet seat.
The product conforms to the requirements of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745.
Installation and Use
Follow these steps carefully to install and use the Etac Hi-Loo:

- Loosen Screws: Undo the four fixing screws slightly. Do not remove them completely.
- Adjust Brackets: Move the four brackets outwards. Tighten screws just enough so that the brackets can still be turned one more click.
- Position Unit: Place the Hi-Loo on the toilet bowl and push it forward until it contacts the porcelain.
- Orient Brackets: Turn the rear and front brackets towards the sides of the toilet bowl.
- Secure Brackets: Slowly lift the Hi-Loo away from the bowl. Turn all four brackets one click inwards. Now, tighten the screws fully. Important: The brackets must remain securely in their position!
- Attach Unit: Attach the Hi-Loo to the bowl, engaging the front brackets first. Then, apply downward pressure to secure the rest of the Hi-Loo to the bowl. Verify it is firmly attached.
Maintenance and Safety
Proper care ensures the longevity and safety of the product.

- ? Cleaning Agent: Use normal non-abrasive cleaning agents with a pH value between 5-9, or a 70% disinfectant solution. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- ⏱️ High-Temperature Cleaning: The product can withstand cleaning in a sterilizer at 85°C for 3 minutes, typically for reconditioning.
- ⚖️ Maximum User Weight: Refer to technical data for the maximum weight capacity.
- ⚠️ Defective Product: A defective product must not be used.
- ? Heat Warning: A heated chair can cause burns.
The materials used are corrosion-resistant and resistant to all general disinfectants.
⚠️ In case of an adverse event related to the use of the device, it should be reported to your local dealer and the national competent authority in a timely manner. The local dealer will forward this information to the manufacturer.
