Control Cable and Power Input
The control cable connects the SEL-651R-2 to the recloser, transmitting secondary current, recloser status, and trip/close signals. Voltage inputs can be connected on both sides of the recloser for schemes like Automatic Network Reconfiguration and synchronism check. The control power input can be ordered for 120 Vac, 230 Vac, 125 Vdc, or 48 Vdc, with the 120 Vac option including a GFCI outlet.
Communications
The SEL-651R-2 supports various communication options, including USB, EIA-232, EIA-485, and multiple Ethernet configurations (10/100BASE-T metallic, 100BASE-FX optical).
