Installation
Keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference. Should the appliance be sold, transferred, or moved, ensure the manual accompanies the washer-dryer to inform the new owner about its operation and features. Read these instructions carefully as they contain vital information on installation, use, and safety.
Unpacking and Levelling
Unpacking:
- A polystyrene part of the base should be removed with the base.
- Important Check: Unpack the washer-dryer and check for any transport damage. If damaged, do not install and contact your retailer.
- Remove the 4 protective screws and rubber bushes with respective spacers from the rear of the appliance.
- Seal gaps using provided plastic plugs.
- Keep all parts for future moving. Packaging materials are not toys.
Levelling:
- Ensure the machine is installed on a flat, sturdy floor, not against walls or cabinets.
- If the floor is uneven, adjust the front feet to compensate. The angle of inclination should not exceed 2°. Correct levelling ensures stability and prevents vibrations and noise.
- If placed on carpet, allow ventilation space underneath.
Electric and Water Connections
Connecting the Water Inlet Hose:
- Connect the supply pipe to a cold water tap using a 3/4 gas threaded connection. Run water until clear before connecting.
- Connect the other end of the hose to the appliance's cold water inlet on the top right-hand side at the rear.
- Ensure the hose has no kinks or bends.
- Water pressure must be within specified limits (see Technical Data table).
- Contact a specialist if the hose is too short. Ensure taps are open and functional; old taps may seize. Never use second-hand hoses.
Connecting the Drain Hose
- Connect the drain hose, without bending, to a draining duct or wall drain between 65-100 cm from the floor.
- If connecting to an under-sink trap, ensure any blanks or removable ends are removed from the spigot.
- If draining into a basin or sink, ensure the hose end is not submerged in water.
- Avoid hose extensions; if necessary, use one with the same diameter, not exceeding 150 cm.
- If pushed into a standpipe, the end should not go down more than 15 cm to prevent self-syphoning.
Electric Connection
- Ensure the mains socket is earthed and compliant with law.
- The socket must support the appliance's maximum power load.
- The supply voltage must match the Technical Data Plate.
- The socket must be compatible with the appliance's plug.
- The appliance is supplied with a 13 amp fused plug.
- Warning: The appliance must be earthed. Operations involving wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Replacing the Fuse: Use a 13 amp ASTA approved fuse (BS 1362). Ensure the fuse cover is refitted.
Removing the Plug: If rerouting the cable, replace the plug with a fused 13 amp rewireable plug (BSI approved) or wire the cable directly into a 13 amp cable outlet controlled by a switch.
Disposing of the Plug: Make the pins unusable before disposal.
Connecting Cable to Alternative Plug: Wires are coloured: Green & Yellow (Earth), Blue (Neutral), Brown (Live). Connect accordingly to terminal markings E, N, L.
Warning: The power supply cable must only be replaced by an authorised serviceman. The company denies liability for non-compliance with these norms.
The First Wash Cycle
Once installed, run a wash cycle with detergent and no laundry, using the 'auto clean' programme (see 'Cleaning the washer-dryer').
Disposing of the Appliance
Remove the plug by cutting the mains cable close to the plug body and dispose of it separately. Do not install the appliance outdoors, as it may be exposed to damp, rain, and thunderstorms. Ensure the mains socket is easily accessible. Do not use extensions or multiple sockets. The power supply cable must not be bent or compressed.

Detergents and Laundry
Detergent Dispenser Drawer
Use the correct detergent dose for successful results. Excessive detergent can cause build-up and pollution.
- Use powder detergent for white cottons, pre-washing, and temperatures over 60°C. Follow packaging instructions.
- Do not use hand washing detergents as they create too much foam.
Open the drawer and pour detergent/additives as follows:
- Compartment 1: Detergent for wash cycle (powder or liquid). Use the provided plastic partition 'A' for liquid dosage. Place partition in slot 'B' for powder.
- Compartment 2: Additives (e.g., fabric softeners). Do not overfill.
- Do not pour detergent into the middle compartment.
Preparing the Laundry
- Divide laundry by fabric type/label and colour (separate whites from colours).
- Empty all pockets and check buttons.
- Do not exceed load weight limits (see 'Table of Programmes and Wash Cycles').
Approximate Laundry Weights:
- 1 sheet: 400-500 g
- 1 pillow case: 150-200 g
- 1 tablecloth: 400-500 g
- 1 bathrobe: 900-1,200 g
- 1 towel: 150-250 g
Special Wash Cycles
- Daily Wash & Dry (Programme 1): For mixed garments (cotton/synthetics), up to 3 kg. Recommended for liquid detergent. Steam helps reduce creases.
- Shirts Wash & Dry (Programme 2): For shirts and T-shirts, up to 2 kg. Recommended for liquid detergent. Pre-treat cuffs/collars. Steam helps reduce creases.
- Pre Iron: For use before ironing, max 1.5 kg. Steam helps reduce creases.
- Steam Refresh: Refreshes garments, neutralises odours, relaxes fibres with steam. Garments will be damp.
- Anti-Stain Quick: For difficult daily stains in 1 hour. Ideal for mixed/coloured fabrics.
- Anti-Stain: For heavily-soiled, resistant colours. Ensures higher washing class. Do not mix colours. Powder detergent recommended. Pre-treatment for obstinate stains. If drying is selected, it resembles open-air drying, preventing yellowing and preserving whiteness. Dryness level 'A2' recommended.
- Multicolor: For coloured cotton garments. Optimised to keep colours bright.
- Ultradelicates (Programme 11): For very delicate garments with embellishments. Turn inside out, use a washing bag for small items. Liquid detergent recommended.
- Drying Function (Time-based): Delicate drying with light handling and controlled water jet. Recommended durations: 1 kg synthetics: 150 min; 1 kg mixed: 180 min; 1 kg cotton: 180 min.
- Silk/Curtains: Select cycle 11 and 'Delicate' level.
- Wool (Woolmark Apparel Care - Green): Approved by The Woolmark Company for 'hand wash' wool garments, provided instructions are followed.
- Sport: For lightly soiled sports clothing. Do not exceed max load. Liquid detergent recommended (half-load amount).
Load Balancing System
Before each spin, the drum rotates to distribute the load evenly. If the load is unbalanced, the machine spins at reduced speed or performs a distribution process. Mixing small and large garments improves balance.
