Operation Instructions
Work Requirements
- AC Input: Confirm the AC voltage allowed by the machine. This machine supports two AC voltage inputs via the back panel switch: AC 230V±10% or AC 115V±10%. Ensure the correct voltage is selected. Using the wrong AC voltage can cause serious damage.
- Avoid using the device in environments where the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C. Ensure adequate space around the instrument for heat dissipation, as the exhaust fan is located at the back.
- Connect the positive and negative output terminals properly and ensure good contact. Improper connections can lead to overheating and damage to the machine.
Voltage Regulation
- Roughly adjust the voltage to the desired value using the coarse adjustment knob, then fine-tune it with the fine adjustment knob.
- Generally, adjust the current knob to its maximum setting before connecting the load.
Current Regulation
To adjust the limiting current output:
- First, set the voltage to approximately 5-10V. Then, short-circuit the positive and negative terminals using wires (ensure the short-circuit alarm is set to the 'OCP' position).
- Adjust the current using the coarse and fine adjustment knobs to the desired current limit.
- After disconnecting the short-circuit conductor and setting the required voltage using the "voltage regulation" method, connect the load.
⚠️ Warning: In Constant Voltage (CV) operation, if the load resistance decreases and the output current increases to the set current value, the power supply will automatically switch to Constant Current (CC) mode. If the load resistance continues to decrease, the current will remain at the set value, and the voltage will decrease proportionally (I = V/R). To restore CV operation, increase the load resistance or the current setting value.
Short Circuit Alarm
This machine features a short-circuit alarm with output interruption and automatic return upon removal of the short circuit.
Usage Method:
- Set the short-circuit alarm switch to the 'OCP' position (✅). This enables the function. If a short circuit (over-current) occurs, the machine will stop output, sound an alarm, and display 'OCP'. When the short circuit is removed, the machine will automatically return to normal output.
- Set the short-circuit alarm switch to the 'CC' position (❌). This disables the function. If a short circuit (over-current) occurs, the machine will output the maximum constant current as set by the user.
The machine determines a short circuit by checking if the output current exceeds the user-set current. Therefore, when this function is active, the machine cannot operate in constant current mode.
USB Quick Charging
This device supports USB fast charging and includes a built-in fast charging protocol identification chip. It can fast charge mobile phones, tablets, power banks, and other devices with fast charging capabilities. The output voltage and current are automatically adjusted according to the device's fast charging protocol. For devices without fast charging, it defaults to a standard 5V charge.
Supported fast charging protocols include:
- Qualcomm QC2.0, QC3.0
- Apple
- Huawei FCP, SCP
- Samsung AFC
- Other fast charging protocols
Connection Load
Follow these steps to connect the load:
- Rotate the terminal knob counterclockwise to loosen it.
- Insert the Load Terminal.
- Turn and tighten the knob of the connecting post clockwise.
- Banana plugs can be directly inserted into the connection post holes.
⚠️ Warning: Incorrect connections can damage the power supply and the load. When connecting batteries or other loads, do not reverse the '+' and '-' polarity, as this may damage the power supply.
Constant Pressure/Current Characteristics
The operating characteristics of this series of power supply are of the constant voltage/constant current automatic conversion type. It can automatically switch between constant voltage and constant current modes based on load changes. The point where constant voltage and constant current modes intersect is called the conversion point.
For example, if the load causes the power supply to operate in constant voltage mode, a constant voltage is output. As the load increases, the output voltage remains stable, and the output current increases. When the current reaches the set limit, the power supply automatically converts to constant current mode. The output current remains stable, and the output voltage decreases proportionally as the load further increases. The conversion between constant voltage and constant current is indicated by the LEDs on the front panel: the CV indicator is lit in constant voltage mode, and the CC indicator is lit in constant current mode.
Diagram Description: A graph showing Output Voltage (Vout) on the y-axis and Output Current (Iout) on the x-axis. The graph shows a horizontal line at Vmax until the current reaches Imax, at which point it transitions to a vertical line at Imax. The conversion point is where these two lines meet.
Fuse Replacement
If the fuse blows, the machine will stop working. Identify and correct the cause of the fuse burnout before replacing it with a fuse of the same specifications.
Method of replacing fuse:
- First, remove the power plug.
- Open the fuse seat according to the diagram.
- After replacing the fuse with one of the same type and specifications, reinstall the fuse holder.
Diagram Description: An illustration showing a screwdriver removing a fuse from a fuse holder, and another illustration showing a fuse holder being reinserted into a power outlet. The text indicates that the fuse is seated on the power outlet.
⚠️ HIGH VOLTAGE DANGER: For effective safety protection, only use fuses of the specified specifications. Before replacing fuses, switch off the power supply and unplug the power cord from the socket.
Product Maintenance
- When the machine is not in use, disconnect the power supply.

Common Problem
Power can't be turned on
Check and verify if the power cord is connected to an alternating current source and if the fuse is in good condition.
Power supply not output
Check if the output line is in good condition and if the voltage or current is turned up.
What is Constant Voltage (C.V)?
The power supply output is constant according to the voltage set by the user. The current supplied will be based on the actual needs of the load.
What is Constant Current (C.C)?
When the current required by the load exceeds the limit current set by the user, the power supply automatically switches to constant current mode. At this point, the current remains unchanged, and the voltage is supplied according to the load's demand.
The power supply can not be output according to the current size set by the user
The current value set by the user represents the maximum limit current the power supply can output. The actual output current is supplied based on the load's needs, but it will not exceed the user-set current limit.
