Operation Instructions
Work requirements
- AC Input: Confirm the AC voltage allowed by the machine (AC 230V±10% or AC 115V±10%). Using the wrong input voltage can cause serious damage. ⚠️
- Environment: Do not use in ambient temperatures exceeding 40°C. Ensure adequate space for the exhaust fan at the back for heat dissipation.
- Connections: Positive and negative output terminals must be connected properly and securely to prevent overheating and damage.
Operation instructions
The power supply offers two output modes: Constant Voltage (C.V) and Constant Current (C.C). The mode is determined by the user-set voltage and current values and the load. The output will not exceed the set values.
- In C.V mode, the output voltage matches the set voltage.
- In C.C mode, the output current matches the set current.
Voltage regulation
- Press the voltage/current switching button (11) to select voltage setting. The voltage display LED will flash. Adjust the knob to the desired voltage.
- To adjust the voltage, press the knob to move the character position and then use the knob.
Current regulation
To adjust the limiting current output:
- Press the voltage/current switching button (11) to select current setting. The current display LED will flash. Adjust the knob to the desired current value.
- To adjust the current, press the knob to move the character position and then use the knob.
For Example
Set voltage to 5V and current to 5A:
- Turn on the power switch.
- Adjust the voltage knob to 5V.
- Adjust the current knob to 5A.
- Connect the load.
Note on CV Operation: In Constant Voltage (CV) operation, if the load resistance decreases and the output current reaches the set current limit, the power supply automatically switches to Constant Current (CC) mode. The current remains stable, and the voltage decreases proportionally (I = V/R). The CV state can be restored by increasing load resistance or the current setting value. ⚠️
Short Circuit Alarm
The machine features a Short Circuit Alarm interrupt output function (OCP).
Usage method:
- Press the OCP button to enable the function; the indicator light will illuminate. If a short circuit (overcurrent) occurs, the machine will stop output and emit a beep with an OCP prompt. Press the OUT button to resume output after the short circuit is cleared.
- Pressing the OCP button again disables the function, and the indicator light turns off. In this state, a short circuit will result in the machine outputting the maximum constant current set by the user.
- The machine determines a short circuit based on whether the output current exceeds the user-set current. Therefore, this function cannot be used in constant current mode.
USB Quick Charging
The machine supports USB-A/Type-C fast charging, with a built-in chip for fast charging protocol identification. The output power is up to 18W, enabling fast charging for devices like mobile phones, PADs, and power banks. It automatically adjusts output voltage and current according to the charged equipment's fast charging protocol. Devices without fast charging functionality will be charged at a standard 5V.
Supported fast charging protocols include: Qualcomm QC2.0, QC3.0, APPLE, Huawei FCP, SCP, Samsung AFC, and others.
Connection load
To connect a load:
- Rotate the terminal knob counterclockwise to loosen it.
- Insert the Load Terminal.
- Turn and tighten the knob of the connecting post clockwise.
- Banana plugs can be inserted directly into the connection post holes.
Diagram Description: Diagrams illustrate the process of inserting and tightening terminals.
Warning: Incorrect connections can damage the power supply and load. When connecting batteries or other loads, ensure the '+' and '-' poles are not reversed, as this may damage the power supply. ⚠️
Constant Pressure/Current Characteristics:
This series of power supplies operates as a constant voltage/constant current automatic conversion type. It automatically switches between constant voltage and constant current states based on load changes. The point where constant voltage and constant current modes intersect is called the conversion point.
For instance, if the load causes the power supply to operate in constant voltage mode, it outputs a constant voltage. As the load increases, the output voltage remains stable, and the output current increases. When the current reaches the set limit, the power supply automatically converts to constant current mode. The output current remains stable, and the output voltage decreases proportionally with increased load. The transition between constant voltage and constant current is indicated by front panel LEDs: the CV indicator is lit in constant voltage mode, and the CC indicator is lit in constant current mode.
Diagram: A graph shows Output Voltage (Vout) on the y-axis and Output Current (Iout) on the x-axis, illustrating Vmax and Imax points.
Fuse replacement
If the fuse burns out, the machine will stop working. Identify and correct the cause of the fuse burnout before replacing it with a fuse of the same specifications.
Method of replacing fuse: First, remove the power plug, then open the fuse seat as shown in the view. After replacing the fuse with one of the same type and specifications, reinstall the fuse holder.
The fuse is located on the power outlet.
Diagram Description: Diagrams show the fuse removal and replacement process.
Safety Notice: For effective safety protection, only use fuses of specified specifications. Before replacing fuses, switch off the power supply and unplug the power cord from the socket. ⚡

Common Problem
Power can't be turned on
Check if the power cord has alternating current and if the fuse is in good condition.
Power supply not output
Verify the output line is in good condition. Ensure the voltage or current is turned up.
What is Constant Voltage (C.V)
The power supply output is constant according to the user-set voltage. The current supplied will meet the actual needs of the load.
What is Constant Current (C.C)
When the current required by the load exceeds the user-set limit, the power supply automatically switches to constant current mode. The current remains unchanged, and the voltage is supplied according to the load's demand.
Note on Current Output: The power supply's output current is not necessarily equal to the user-set current size. The user-set current value represents the maximum limit current the power supply can output. The actual output current is supplied based on the load's needs, but it will not exceed the user-set limit.
