Product Description
The Namron Orkan is a dense industrial luminaire featuring an LED illuminated panel. Its housing is constructed from glass fiber reinforced polyester, making it suitable for demanding environments. The lamp housing utilizes polymethyl methacrylate, secured by acid-resistant 316 steel clips. This luminaire is ideal for outdoor use and harsh conditions, including agricultural buildings (barns), commercial kitchens, farms, and car wash facilities.

Mounting and Installation
General Mounting Instructions:
- Mounting of the luminaire must be done using the provided mounting clips (2 pcs).
- NEVER screw directly into the luminaire housing, as this will weaken the construction and compromise the IP rating.
Installation Steps:
- Turn off the power. [power-off]
- Prepare the luminaire for mounting, which includes attaching the mounting clips.
- If through-wiring is necessary, ensure it is performed correctly.
- Secure the luminaire to the mounting surface using the clips.
- Connect the electrical wiring to the terminal block inside the luminaire.
- Turn on the power. [power-on]
The installation diagrams illustrate the following: Step 1 shows turning off the main power. Step 2 shows the luminaire with mounting clips attached. Step 3 demonstrates how to perform through-wiring. Step 4 shows the luminaire being secured with screws via the clips. Step 5 and 6 show the internal wiring connections and the terminal block. Step 7 details the terminal block. Step 8 shows turning the power back on.

The Orkan LED luminaire is available in three lengths corresponding to different power outputs:
- Model 3308410 (2x12W): 340mm length
- Model 3308411 (2x18W): 760mm length
- Model 3308412 (2x25W): 1010mm length
General dimensions of the luminaire housing:
- Width: 116mm
- Height: 100mm
- Depth/Profile: Various dimensions are indicated in diagrams, such as 123mm, 265.75mm, and 272.6mm, which may refer to mounting bracket depth or overall profile. The maximum overall length is 1500mm.
Diagrams show the overall shape and mounting points. A cable entry point of 6mm is indicated.
Safety Notice
- Electrical installation must only be performed by a registered electrician.
- Never touch the luminaire while it is switched on.
- In the event of a malfunction, immediately disconnect the luminaire from the power supply. Do not attempt to repair the luminaire yourself; repairs must be carried out by an authorized service agent.
- The light source within this luminaire is only to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
