Product Description
The TRIDONIC DALI RM CDM 30 10A 1CH is a DALI-2 relay module designed for lighting control systems. It is compatible with both DALI and DALI-2 standards, specifically complying with IEC 62386-208.
This device functions as a 1-channel actuator (switch) with a DALI-2 input. It offers protection against DALI overvoltage and is suitable for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail in control cabinets. The relay output provides a volt-free (potential-free) contact for mains voltage switching.
Key features include:
- DALI-2 Relay
- Compatible with DALI and DALI-2
- Complies with IEC 62386-208
- 1-channel actuator (switch) with DALI-2 input
- Protected against DALI overvoltage
- Suitable for 35 mm DIN rail mounting
- Mains voltage relay output with potential-free contact
- DALI device type 7 compliant
- Compact dimensions
- 5-year warranty (conditions apply, see TRIDONIC warranty conditions)
Interfaces: DALI
Functions:
- Optimized for electronic loads with high inrush currents, such as LED drivers, which exhibit short but very high inrush current peaks.
- Switches loads with inrush currents up to 490 A / 1.5 ms.
- Compatible with common DALI-2 controllers and gateways.
- DALI backward compatible.

Installation
Safety Instructions
- Do not connect the device to DC (direct current) as this will damage the device.
- Do not create a short circuit on the secondary side, as this will damage the device.
- It is recommended to connect the device via an RCD (residual-current device) or a circuit breaker with a rated current not exceeding 10 A on the secondary side to protect the device in case of a short circuit.
- Installation of this device must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
- The power supply must be switched off before working on the device.
- Observe applicable safety and accident prevention regulations.
- DALI is not SELV (Separated Extra-Low Voltage). Low voltage installation regulations apply.
Area of Use
The device must only be:
- Used for its intended purpose.
- Installed permanently in a dry and clean environment.
- Installed in such a way that access is only possible with tools.
