Featured Function
Dual Recording
The RM05 mirror has dual channel lenses, recording video in Front 4K (3840*2160) and Rear 1080P (1920*1080) simultaneously.
Loop Record
Set video file length to 1/3/5 minutes. When storage is full, the camera loops back to the earliest file and overwrites it. For example, with a 3-minute setting, clips are recorded in 3-minute intervals. When the card is full, it continues recording and overwrites the earliest unprotected 3-minute file.
G-Sensor
The built-in Gravity sensor triggers and locks the current video file in case of a serious vehicle collision or rapid acceleration/deceleration, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
Parking Guard
The Parking Monitor protects your car after parking. When the car is stopped and the unit is off, it enters standby. Upon detecting a significant shock, it automatically turns on, records a 20-second video, and then shuts down. Videos recorded under parking monitor are protected and not overwritten by loop recording.
Screen Saver
Set the time after which the unit automatically turns off the screen to save power and reduce driving distractions. If the unit is not operated for a set time (e.g., 3 minutes), the screen turns off while recording continues. Any button operation or screen touch reactivates the display.
Streaming Media
The "Back Mirror" function displays the rear camera view in full screen by default, acting as a real rearview mirror.
GPS Function
With the GPS module connected, the RM05 can display the current speed. Check the GPS signal status in the setup menu. Speed units (KM/H and MPH) are optional.
NOTICE: The displayed speed is an average calculated from locations and time, and may have errors, especially at low speeds. It is for reference only.
GPS Logger
With the GPS module connected, the RM05 records real-time GPS coordinates in the video file, viewable with the customized GPS player.
NOTICE: The GPS playback requires the customized player "GXPlayer" (contact seller support). Available for Windows operating systems only.

Common Problem and Solution
Recorder shows memory full, unable to loop video, etc.
- When using a new memory card for the first time, format it to FAT32 on PC, then format it in the camera. If the card was previously used on another device, it needs to be formatted on this camera. Consider using a new SANDISK 32G Micro SD CARD.
- Check the G-sensor sensitivity. High sensitivity can trigger the G-sensor due to bumping and shaking, locking files that cannot be overwritten. Accumulated locked files prevent loop recording. Shaking also causes stray files when parking guard is on, affecting card reading/writing.
The device will automatically turn on or turn off.
- Format the memory card to FAT32 on PC, then format it in the camera.
- Check if the parking guard function is enabled. With parking monitor on, the device turns on and records upon detecting a collision or shaking.
- Check the car charger connection. An unstable power supply due to a loose connection can cause the camera to turn on and off automatically.
The rear camera does not display image
- Switch the camera display mode to check the rear camera status.
- Ensure the AV plug and cable are properly connected.
- Disconnect the camera, clean the connector with medical alcohol, and reconnect.
Screen operation or button reaction is slow during recording
- Ensure the memory card is high-speed (Class 10). Using a non-high-speed card can lead to missed seconds, video playback jams, screen display issues, and crashes.
- Reset the camera if necessary.
Change in the setting menus won't save.
- After changing settings, manually press the Power button to shut down; this saves the device settings.
- Abnormal power-off may prevent settings from being saved.
- Low battery levels might cause customized settings to be lost.
Even though set the screen saver, but the screen will randomly come back on.
The power supply might be unstable. Try using a different car charger.
