Common Problems and Solutions
- P: When I press the menu button, why doesn't the system menu appear?
- R: First, press the OK button to stop recording.
- P: I've stopped recording, but I still can't access the menu.
- R: Please turn off motion detection. Otherwise, it will continue recording when it detects any movement, preventing you from accessing the menu.
- P: I have configured recording, but it only records randomly for 10 seconds with long intervals, then stops and restarts recording.
- R: We suggest not activating motion detection functions while driving, as this function can cause intermittent recording.
- P: The SD card is full and not overwriting?
- R: Please check if all video files are locked and cannot be overwritten. Format the micro SD card and adjust the G-Sensor sensitivity.
- P: The mount cannot be fixed properly on the windshield?
- R:
- Please clean the windshield where the mount is attached with a glass cleaning wipe. Remove the protective film. If it still doesn't work, warm the windshield and try again.
- Please soak the suction mount in hot water for a moment.
- If it still doesn't work, Toguard can send you a new suction mount. Please contact Toguard for a replacement.
- P: Even though the screen saver is configured, the screen keeps turning on.

- P: The camera keeps turning on and off.
- R: This might be the parking monitor function activating. Check the settings menu.
- P: If the video played on the computer is not smooth or is stuck.
- R:
- Try playing the video with different video players, such as Potplayer or VLCplayer.
- Format your Micro SD card in the camera.

- P: There are interference stripes in the image.
- R: The light frequency might be incorrect. According to local regulations, choose the appropriate frequency settings: 50HZ or 60HZ.
- P: Without an external power source, the camera only lasts a very short time or simply cannot turn on.
- R: The built-in battery has a low capacity for safety reasons, and it is used only to save the video and the parking monitor. It is not designed to operate without an external power source.
