Zempire Aerospeed 10 Instruction Manual
Brand: Zempire | Product Type: Camping Tent
Introduction
This document serves as the comprehensive instruction manual for the Zempire Aerospeed 10 air tent. It provides detailed guidance on setup, packdown, care, troubleshooting, and warranty information to ensure you get the most out of your camping experience.
The Aerospeed 10 is designed for family camping in light to moderate weather conditions.
Key Tips
- Before inflating, peg the corners and ensure the tent floor sits flat with tension between each peg loop.
- Always zip doors closed before inflating and deflating to maintain the tent's shape and prevent stress on panels and zips.
- Avoid over-tensioning guy ropes, as the tent is designed to be free-standing. Guy ropes should be taught but not distort the tent's shape.
- Always replace the protection cap on the pump shaft to prevent damage to the tent fabric when packing.
- Inflate air tubes slowly, monitoring a pressure gauge to reach the correct PSI (recommended 10 PSI).
- When rolling up door panels, fold outer corners into the centre and roll inwards to prevent loose edges and water pooling.
- Gently push brow poles through their sleeves to ensure segments remain connected.
- On warm or humid nights, zip down the top of the 360° door cover for maximum ventilation while maintaining privacy.

Setup Guide
1. Unpack
Carefully unpack all components from the carry bag. This includes the tent fabric, air poles, pegs, and pump. Ensure all parts are present before proceeding.
2. Prepare
Assemble the pump by connecting the hose and handle. Ensure the pump is ready for use and the pressure gauge is visible.
3. Peg/Stake
Lay the tent flat on the ground. Begin by pegging the four corners of the tent, ensuring the floor is taut and correctly positioned. Use pegs at a 45° angle for maximum hold.
4. Brace
Insert the air poles into their respective sleeves. Secure any additional bracing poles or guy lines as indicated in the diagrams.
Caution: Be mindful of pinch points when handling poles.
5. Inflate
Locate the two Boston valves, typically found near the base of the tent's air frame. Screw the pump connector securely into the valves. Inflate the air frame slowly, monitoring the pressure gauge. Initially pump to 7 PSI, then increase to the recommended 10 PSI for optimal stability.
6. Trim
Once inflated, attach and tension all guy ropes. Ensure they are taut but do not pull the tent out of shape. This provides additional stability and wind resistance.
Packdown Guide
1. Remove Poles
Carefully remove any bracing poles that were inserted during setup. Caution: Be aware of pinch points.
2. Close Zips
Close all fly and inner zips, but leave the bottom of the inner door slightly open to facilitate air escape during deflation.
3. Deflate
Partially unscrew the Boston valves to release air pressure gradually. Once most of the air has escaped, remove the valves completely to allow for full deflation.
4. Remove Pegs
Use a peg puller or similar tool to safely remove all pegs from the ground. Avoid pulling the tent or peg loops directly.
5. Disassemble
Ensure all air has been expelled from the air frame. The pump can be used to assist in expelling remaining air if necessary.
6. Clean & Store
Clean the tent fabric and poles as per the care instructions. Ensure the tent is completely dry before packing. Store in a well-ventilated, dry place.
7. Fold & Roll
Fold the tent systematically, following the creases from manufacturing if possible. Roll the tent tightly, starting from the end opposite the entry points, to fit back into the carry bag.

Care Instructions
- Ensure guy ropes are out and used at all times during use.
- Keep all vents open at all times to reduce condensation, especially in humid weather. Never cook inside the tent.
- Zip all doors closed before inflating and deflating to maintain tent shape and prevent stress on panels/zips.
- Never pack the tent away wet. If it must be packed wet, dry it completely as soon as possible to prevent mildew.
- If mildew forms, wash it off with warm water and a soft brush. Do not use soap or detergents.
- Do not use aerosol spray cans or open flames inside the tent. The fabric is fire retardant but not fire-proof.
- Always use a peg puller to remove pegs. Clean and dry pegs before storing.
- This tent is not designed for storm conditions; take it down during severe storms.
- Avoid leaving the tent pitched unnecessarily for extended periods, as UV light damages fabric and shortens its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
Air Leak
- Check all Boston Valves are properly closed.
- Ensure valve seals are intact, clean, and correctly fitted.
- Verify Boston Valves are screwed in and seated correctly into the inflation tube.
- Check the valve cap cover is firmly tightened.
- For minor leaks at the valve, apply a smear of petroleum jelly to the O-ring seal.
- Check for punctures in the air frame.
Water Leak
- Inspect seams for leaks, damaged seam seal tape, or damp areas.
- Check the tent for any holes and apply repair tape or seam sealer as needed.
Rip in the Fabric
Use repair tape for a temporary fix. Avoid duct tape if possible. For permanent repairs, consult a specialist.

Warnings & Safety
Please read and follow all instructions, guidelines, and safety warnings. Failure to do so may result in death, injury, or product damage. Keep this manual with the product.
DANGER! - Safety Instruction
Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Never use fuel-burning appliances (e.g., barbecues, gas heaters) inside the tent. Burning produces carbon monoxide, which can accumulate and cause death.
WARNING! - Safety Instruction
Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Fire Hazard
Do not cook inside the tent or use open flames. The fabric is fire retardant but not fire-proof.
Suffocation
Ensure ventilation openings are always open to avoid suffocation.
CAUTION! - Safety Instruction
Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
Injury Risk
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised. Guy lines are trip hazards; keep children away and wear protective footwear. Children should not undertake maintenance or cleaning unsupervised.
DANGER! - Electric Shock and/or Electrocution Hazard
Using power cord access points to run extension cords into the tent can lead to electric shock, electrocution, fire, or explosion. Use only outdoor-rated extension cords that are in good condition. Ensure electrical devices and cords do not contact water or moisture inside the tent. Connect to GFCI (USA) or RCD (AU/NZ) protected outlets. Ensure the external cord section is lower than the internal entry point to prevent water ingress. Follow all manufacturer instructions for extension cords. Store tent and cords separately.
CAUTION! - Risk of Injury and Material Damage
Never open the zip on a protective sleeve around an air pole while the pole is inflated, as this can cause it to burst. Only inflate air poles to the recommended pressure (10 PSI / 0.69 bar) using the supplied or Zempire-recommended pump.
NOTICE! - Material Damage
During setup or packdown, do not use force on zippers or when dismantling the tent, as this can damage fabric and components.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Do not use sharp objects, hard objects, or chemical cleaning agents. Gently remove tree sap and bird droppings as soon as possible. If necessary, clean fabric with clean water and a soft-bristled brush.
Storage
Set up the tent for cleaning. Choose a sunny day to ensure thorough drying. Clean the inside to remove food debris that might attract rodents. Air the tent fully until completely dry before packing. Store in a well-ventilated, dry place in the supplied carry bag.
Disposal
Recycle all packaging material. Do not discard into household garbage or landfill. Contact local recycling facilities.
