Cleaning Process
Outer Cover
Regular cleaning maintains the quality and durability of your pillow. To clean, remove the cover from the pillow and wash on a gentle cycle. Ensure the cover is completely dry before refitting. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals.
Internal Memory Foam
- Remove the cover from the pillow.
- Hand wash only. Fill a large basin or bathtub with lukewarm water. Avoid hot water.
- Add a small amount of gentle detergent and stir until dissolved. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Submerge the pillow and gently press to ensure saturation. Do not twist or wring the pillow, as this can permanently damage its structure.
- Rinse the pillow under lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze to remove excess water, but avoid pressing too hard.
- Dry the pillow by laying it on a clean, dry towel. Roll the towel with the pillow inside to absorb excess moisture. Unroll and let the pillow air dry completely in a well-ventilated area. This may take a few days. Do not use a dryer or direct sunlight, as these can cause shrinking or distortion.
Ensure the pillow is completely dry before storing for long periods to prevent mould growth.
Pack Away & Storage
Simply roll up your memory foam travel pillow and tuck it into the inbuilt travel pocket, securing it with the attached toggle and loop.
Storage Recommendation: Store your pillow unrolled in a dry place, out of direct sunlight, and away from chemicals and moisture. Prolonged storage in a damp space may cause mildew damage, which is not covered by the Zempire® warranty. Never store the pillow wet.
Warnings
- ❗ Avoid exposing the pillow to DEET-based insect repellents, sunscreen, or chlorine to prevent fabric damage.
- Keep the pillow out of reach of pets, as they may chew or scratch it.
- Always transport the pillow in the recommended pack-away form to prevent damage.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as UV rays can deteriorate the fabric.
- Do not use your pillow on rocky or sharp surfaces.
- Do not expose the pillow to flames or sparks.
- Do not use as a flotation device.
- Children must be supervised when using the pillow.
2 Year Limited Warranty
Zempire® Camping Equipment offers a 2-year warranty against faulty materials or manufacture from the date of purchase.
Conditions:
- Applies to original purchasers of products bought in unopened condition from approved retailers.
- Does not apply to commercial use, rental, or continuous use.
- Excludes damage from normal wear and tear, accident, acts of God, negligence, failure to follow instructions, abnormal UV exposure, wind, insects, animals, mold/mildew, or causes beyond Zempire®'s control.
- For warranty claims, return the product to the place of purchase within the warranty period, in a clean, dry state with proof of purchase.
- Transport costs and indirect costs are excluded.
- Zempire® may charge for repairs outside the warranty scope.
- This warranty does not limit statutory consumer rights.
