ATLANTIC WATER HEATERS

The Dealer hereby warrants the ATLANTIC brand electric water heater whose serial number is stated in this warranty certificate, to the extent and subject to the conditions set forth below for a period of THREE YEARS AGAINST LEAKAGES from the inner cylinder (boiler). For the following replaceable parts: (thermostat, heating element, safety valves and thermometer), 6 MONTHS PARTS AND LABOUR and 1 YEAR PARTS ONLY.

The guarantee includes the free exchange of the tank and of components accepted as defective. It does not include the cost of replacement or carriage. IF OUR TECHNICIAN IS CALLED ONSITE AND THE FAULT IS NOT FROM THE WATER HEATER THERE IS A SERVICE CHARGE OF €35 WHICH IF UNPAID WILL MAKE GUARANTEE NULL AND VOID!

To claim under guarantee, contact your installer or dealer. The guarantee applies only to examined products which are accepted as faulty by the company underwriting the guarantee. It is essential that products should be retained for inspection by them.

The foregoing warranty is conditional upon the following:

• The warranty certificate and the original fiscal receipt must be presented along with the defective water heater.
• The Dealer shall not be responsible for any personal injuries and/or material damages or losses incurred in connection with the use of the water heater.
• Abnormal environment conditions:
  • Placement in a location subject to frost or bad weather. Very warm or badly ventilated rooms.
  • Supply using water with abnormal aggressive criteria.
  • Electricity power supply with severe overvoltages.
• The water heater cannot receive water supply directly from mains/water pumps.
• An installation not in conformity with the regulations standards and standard practice, and particularly:
  • Omission or incorrect installation of a new safety valve.
  • Abnormal corrosion due to an incorrect water connection or if the dielectric connections are not fitted (direct contact between iron and copper).
  • Defective electrical connection (not conform to installation standard NF C15-100, incorrect earthing, cable with inadequate cross-section, failure to respect specified connection diagrams.
  • Equipment switched on without prior filling (dry heating).
  • Equipment position not in conformity with the instructions in the manual
• Improper maintenance:
• Abnormal scaling of heating elements and safety devices.
• Lack of maintenance or malfunction of the safety valve resulting in overpressures.
• Tank corrosion with the magnesium anode being completely corroded.
• Signs of external aggression on the casing.
• Modification of the original equipment without the manufacturer's permission or the use of spare parts not referenced by the manufacturer.
• This warranty shall be null and void in case the label of the serial number is removed or the contents of this warranty certificate have been tampered with or not properly filled out and stamped by the seller immediately after purchase.
