For 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid - Push-to-Start Models
Introduction
This document provides installation and programming instructions for the Fortin EVO-ONE remote starter system, specifically for the THAR-ONE-TOY16 harness, designed for the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid with Push-to-Start ignition.

Vehicle Compatibility & Module Information
This module is compatible with Toyota Camry Hybrid vehicles manufactured after 2019.
The EVO-ONE module supports various vehicle functions, including:

Firmware: To update firmware and options, use the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tool (sold separately).

Remote Starter Configuration for Comfort Group Activation:
Function: 39, Mode: 2
Description: Temperature option: AUX.1 activated at 5°C, 5 seconds after remote start.
Note: The vehicle's OEM remote and SmartKey remain operable during remote start.
Installation Locations
Key components are typically located:
- ECU: Behind the glove box.
- Connectors: Above the driver's kick panel.
Wiring Connections
This installation utilizes specialized T-Harnesses to integrate the EVO-ONE module with the vehicle's electrical system. Key connection points include:
- Main Harness (6-pin White Connector): Connects the EVO-ONE module to the vehicle's wiring.
- Vehicle Interface Connectors: Located above the driver's kick panel, these include a 54-pin Black connector, a 30-pin White connector, and a 30-pin Tan connector.
- T-Harness Connectors: Female connectors that mate with the vehicle's male connectors.
Important Wiring Notes:
- For Automatic Transmission Mode, cut the specified loop on the harness.
- [Hood Pin Switch]: Mandatory for safety. Ensure it is installed and configured via Option A11. If the vehicle lacks a functional hood pin, set A11 to OFF.
Refer to the original document's wiring diagrams for precise pin-to-pin connections.
Dcryptor Programming Procedure
Required Tools: Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile, compatible computer (Windows) or smartphone (Android/iOS) with internet access.
Procedure:
- Step 1: Press and hold the programming button on the EVO-ONE module. Connect the 6-pin Main harness (White connector). The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED, YELLOW, and BLUE/RED flashes.
- Step 2: Release the programming button when the BLUE LED is solid ON. If the BLUE LED is not solid, disconnect and repeat Step 1.
- Step 3: Insert the remaining required connectors.
- Step 4: Ignition ON: Press the [Push-to-Start Button] twice to turn the ignition ON. The [BLUE LED] will flash rapidly.
- Step 5: Ignition OFF: Press the [Push-to-Start Button] once to turn the ignition OFF. The [BLUE LED] will continue to flash rapidly.
- Step 6: Unlock Vehicle: Press the Unlock button on the vehicle's OEM remote. The [BLUE LED] will turn ON solid.
Key Bypass Programming Procedure
Procedure:
- Step 7: Press the foot-brake pedal. Press the [Push-to-Start Button] until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The [BLUE LED] will turn OFF, and the [RED LED] will turn ON.
- Step 8: Press the [Push-to-Start Button] once to turn off the engine.
- Step 9: Press the foot-brake pedal. Press the [Push-to-Start Button] until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The [RED LED] will turn OFF, and the [YELLOW LED] will turn ON. Wait for the RED and YELLOW LEDs to alternate.
- Step 10: Press the [Push-to-Start Button] once to turn off the engine.
- Step 11: Disconnect all connectors, including the 6-pin Main harness and the 4-pin Data-link connector.
- Step 12: Use the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tool to visit the DCryptor menu via your computer or smartphone.
- Step 13: After completing the DCryptor programming, reconnect all vehicle connectors, starting with the 6-pin Main harness or 4-pin Data-link connector.
Verification: Test the remote starter by performing a remote start.
Remote Starter Functionality
To Start the Vehicle Remotely:
- Ensure all doors are closed.
- Press the Unlock button on your OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or the proximity remote.
- Enter the vehicle with your Smart-Key.
- Important: Do NOT press the brake pedal.
- Press and release the [Push-to-Start Button] once.
- Now, press the brake pedal. The vehicle is ready to be put into gear and driven.
Note: If the Smart-Key is not detected, the vehicle will shut down.
