Product Description
The Wi-Fi Bridge Gateway is a Wi-Fi to RF+ device with an integrated RS485 interface. It establishes a connection via the user's home Wi-Fi router, enabling control of motorized window coverings through the Smart Life App. It also interacts with ecosystems like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant via cloud API.
Functional Interface
LED Light Indicators:
- Blue light flickers: Initialization in progress.
- Red light is on: Standby (Initialization complete).
- Yellow light flickers: Gateway is connecting.
- Yellow light is on: Gateway has been connected.
Buttons:
- P1: Hold for 6 seconds to enter connection mode.
- P2: Hold for 6 seconds to reset (the light will turn off and then the red light will turn on).

Bridge Connection to Wi-Fi
Follow these steps to connect the Wi-Fi Bridge to your network using the Smart Life App:
- Enter Connection Mode: Hold the P1 button on the Bridge for 6 seconds until the yellow light flickers.
- Open Smart Life App: Tap "Add Device". Select "Small Home Application" from the left directory, scroll down, and tap "Curtain(Wi-Fi)".
- Select Wi-Fi Network: Choose your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (Note: If your Wi-Fi is 5GHz, please set it to 2.4GHz).
- Confirm Indicator Status: Tap "Confirmation the indicator is blinking rapidly" or "Blink Slowly" based on the device's status. (The manual suggests pressing the RESET button for 5 seconds until the indicator blinks).
- Connect to Hotspot: Tap "Go to Connect". Connect your mobile phone to the device's hotspot, typically named "SmartLife-XXXX" or "SL-XXXX".
- Return to App: Once connected to the hotspot, go back to the Smart Life App to add the device.
- Device Added: After the Bridge is added successfully, you can modify its name.
Remark: The connection operation should be finished within 3 minutes, or the gateway will exit automatically.
Connecting Motors to the Wi-Fi Bridge
Unidirectional Motor Connection:
- Pairing Mode:
- Way 1: Press the motor head button for 2 seconds until the motor jogs once.
- Way 2: Press the Prg button on the paired remote, the motor jogs once. Press the same Prg button again, the motor jogs once.
- Add Subdevice in App: Click the Bridge in the Smart Life App to add a subdevice. Choose "Unidirectional equipment". Select your window covering type and tap "Match now".
- Confirmation: After the motor jogs twice, tap "responded, saved". The motor is now connected. You can rename it.
Remark: The operation of this step should be finished within 10 seconds.
Control: After connection, confirm running direction and set limits in the app for remote control.
Bidirectional Motor Connection:
- Pairing Mode:
- Way 1: Hold the motor head button for 6 seconds until the motor jogs twice and the orange LED on the motor head flickers twice. The blue LED flickers after releasing the button, indicating pairing mode.
- Way 2: Press the Prg button on the paired remote, motor jogs once. Press the Down button, motor jogs once. Press the Up button, motor jogs once. The blue LED flickers after releasing the button, indicating pairing mode.
- Add Subdevice in App: Click the Bridge in the Smart Life App to add a subdevice. Choose "Bidirectional equipment" to search automatically.
- Confirmation: Once connected, you can rename the motor.
Control: After connection, confirm running direction and set limits in the app for remote control.
Technical Details
Bluetooth Function:
Provides auxiliary network distribution. After powering the product, the mobile app can automatically search for the product without manual control.
433MHz Operation:
The CR3L module is controlled by the mobile APP via Bluetooth. The CR3L sends a signal to the MCU, which then sends a signal to the 433 module (S14463). The 433 module (S14463) sends the signal to the motor, controlling the curtain's operation.
Launch Mode: Press once to send the command once.
