Connecting to Video Equipment and Projecting
Initial Setup and Projection:
- Connect the HDMI output terminal of your video equipment (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console) to the projector's HDMI input terminal using an HDMI cable.
- Connect the projector to a power outlet using the provided power cord.
- Press the Power button [⏻] on the projector's operation panel to turn it on.
- Open the lens cover.
- Turn on your video equipment.
Important Safety Information:
Warning:
- Do not look into the projector lens while it is projecting.
- Ensure proper grounding. Grounding must be completed before connecting the power plug to the outlet. When disconnecting grounding, always unplug the power cord from the outlet first.
Caution:
- Do not block the projector's air intake or exhaust vents. Blocking these can cause internal heat buildup and potentially lead to fire.
- Connect the projector's power cord only after connecting it to the video equipment.
Connecting to a Computer:
- Connect the computer's display output port to the projector's computer input port using a commercially available computer cable (e.g., HDMI or VGA, depending on your computer).
- After turning on your computer, switch the display output to the projector. Typically, this involves pressing the Fn key (Function key) and another key that displays an external monitor icon (e.g., F4, F5, F7, or F8, depending on your computer model). Refer to your computer's user manual for specific instructions.
Adjusting Image Settings
Adjusting Image Size:
Use the zoom ring on the lens to adjust the image size. The image size can also be changed by moving the projector closer to or further from the screen. Moving closer makes the image smaller; moving further away makes it larger.
Example projection distances:
- For a 50-inch screen: approximately 1.5 meters
- For a 150-inch screen: approximately 4.5 meters
Turning Off the Projector:
Press the Power button [⏻] twice.
Troubleshooting: No Image Projected
If no image is projected, press the [Input Detect] button to automatically search for the input signal.
Correcting Image Distortion
Blurry Image:
Rotate the focus ring to sharpen the image and achieve a clear picture.
Trapezoidal Image Distortion:
Horizontal Keystone Correction: Use the horizontal keystone adjustment slider to correct trapezoidal distortion that appears wider at the top or bottom.
Vertical and Horizontal Keystone Correction: Access the keystone correction screen by pressing the [Keystone] [⏻] or [Keystone] [⏻] button on the operation panel. You can then individually adjust vertical and horizontal distortion using the arrow keys.
Note: Excessive tilting of the projector can make it difficult to achieve a sharp focus. Position the projector to minimize tilt.
Adjusting Image Height:
Press the foot lever to extend the front foot. The projector can be tilted up to 12 degrees to adjust the projected image height.
Connecting to Various Devices
The projector supports connections with various devices such as DVD players, VHS players, USB memory drives, and document cameras. Refer to the connection diagrams below:
USB Devices:
Connect USB memory drives or other USB devices to the projector's USB Type-A port.
Video Equipment:
Connect devices like DVD players or VCRs using HDMI, S-Video, or Composite Video (RCA) connections, along with corresponding audio connections.

Connect your computer via HDMI or USB-B port.
Important: Connecting devices while they are powered on may cause damage or malfunctions.
