Product Overview

This section provides a detailed look at the Superstar Monster Blaster speaker, its controls, and indicators.

Main Unit Controls and Indicators (Top View)

The top of the speaker features several controls and indicators:

• 1. MODE Button: Used to switch between different operating modes.
• 2. Power/Pairing Button (⏻): Press and hold to turn the speaker on/off. Short press to initiate pairing mode.
• 3. Volume Down / Indoor/Outdoor Mode Button (-): Decreases volume. Short press can also switch between 'Indoor' and 'Outdoor' modes.
• 4. Volume Up / Indoor/Outdoor Mode Button (+): Increases volume. Short press can also switch between 'Indoor' and 'Outdoor' modes.
• 5. Status LED Indicator: Shows the overall operational status of the speaker.
• 6. Indoor (INDOOR) Mode LED Indicator: Illuminates when the speaker is set to 'Indoor' mode.
• 7. Volume Adjustment LED Indicator: Provides visual feedback for volume level changes.
• 8. Outdoor (OUTDOOR) Mode LED Indicator: Illuminates when the speaker is set to 'Outdoor' mode.
• 9. Volume Level / INDOOR/OUTDOOR Mode LED Indicator: Displays the current volume level and indicates the selected mode (Indoor/Outdoor).

Ports and Sensors (Side/Rear View)

The rear and side of the speaker house various ports and sensors:

• 10. Battery Charge Level LED Indicator: Displays the current battery charge status.
• 11. NFC Sensor: Used for quick pairing with NFC-enabled devices.
• 12. Rubber Cover/Plug: Protects ports when not in use.
• 13. 3.5mm Audio Input (AUX IN): Connect external audio sources via a 3.5mm cable.
• 14. 3.5mm Microphone Input (MIC): Connect a microphone using a 3.5mm cable.
• 15. Charging Port: Connect the included power adapter to charge the speaker.
• 16. USB-Out Port: Allows the speaker to charge other USB-powered devices.

Charging the Speaker

Ensure your speaker is fully charged before its first use. The charging adapter is included.

1. Gently detach the rubber cover protecting the ports.
2. Connect the included charging adapter to the speaker's charging port (15) and plug it into a wall outlet.

To check the battery level, turn on the speaker and observe the battery charge level LED indicator (10).

Connecting Devices

Pairing with Devices via NFC

For quick and easy pairing, use the NFC feature:

1. Turn on the speaker by pressing and holding the power button (⏻).
2. Activate the NFC function on your smartphone or NFC-enabled device.
3. Bring your smartphone close to the speaker's NFC sensor (11).

Upon successful connection, you will hear a voice prompt: "We are connected". You can now start playing music.

Pairing with Devices Without NFC (Bluetooth)

If your device does not support NFC, you can pair via standard Bluetooth:

1. Press and hold the power button (⏻) on the speaker until you hear intermittent tones or the voice prompt "Ready to connect".
2. Activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone or device.
3. On your smartphone, search for available Bluetooth devices. From the list, find and select "SuperStar Monster Blaster".

Once connected, you will hear the voice prompt: "We are connected". You can now enjoy your music.

Connecting via Audio Cable

You can also connect your audio source using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included):

1. Press and hold the power button (⏻) on the speaker until you hear intermittent tones.
2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to your sound source and the other end to the speaker's 3.5mm audio input (13).

You can now start listening to your audio.

Using the Microphone (Not Included)

This speaker supports microphone input for enhanced functionality:

1. Press and hold the power button (⏻) on the speaker until you hear intermittent tones.
2. Connect your microphone to the speaker's 3.5mm microphone input (14).

You can use the microphone during music playback.

Adjustments: Volume and Mode Settings

Customize your audio experience with volume control and mode selection.

Volume Adjustment

Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons (4, 3) to adjust the speaker's volume. The volume level LED indicator (9) will provide visual feedback.

Mode Selection (Indoor/Outdoor)

The speaker offers distinct sound profiles for different environments. Press the MODE button (1) or short press the Volume Up/Down buttons (4, 3) to cycle through the modes:

• Indoor Mode: Optimized for enclosed spaces. Indicated by the 'INDOOR' LED (6).
• Outdoor Mode: Tuned for open environments. Indicated by the 'OUTDOOR' LED (8).

The speaker's sound output will adjust based on the selected mode.

Charging a Smartphone via USB-Out Port

The Monster Superstar Monster Blaster can also act as a power bank to charge your mobile devices.

1. Press and hold the power button (⏻) on the speaker until you hear intermittent tones.
2. Connect your smartphone to the speaker's USB-out port (16) using a standard USB cable.

Your smartphone will begin charging.

Precautions and Warranty

Please read the following safety instructions carefully:

• Do not expose the product to moisture, liquids, rain, or extreme temperatures. Avoid electrical shock and operational damage.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or place it near heat sources.
• Do not block ventilation openings to prevent overheating.

• Do not attempt to replace the battery, as it is built-in and not user-replaceable.

• Turn off the product before boarding an aircraft. Do not use the product on an aircraft unless permitted by the airline.
• Dispose of the product and battery in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Do not dispose of batteries with regular household waste.
