Safety Information
WARNING: Read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate, or install the product.
- Before installation, disconnect power by removing fuses or turning off circuit breakers.
- Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes, the National Electrical Code, and ANSI/NFPA 70-199. Consult a qualified electrician if unfamiliar with wiring.
- Ensure the installation site allows a minimum clearance of 7 ft. from blades to floor and at least 30 in. from blade ends to any obstruction.
- The net weight of this fan is 13.45 lbs.
- DANGER: When using an existing outlet box, ensure it is securely attached to the building structure and can support the fan's full weight.
- WARNING: Use gloves when handling parts with sharp edges.
- WARNING: Do not use a full-range dimmer switch to control fan speed, as it may cause humming.
- WARNING: Mount the fan to an outlet box marked "ACCEPTABLE FOR FAN SUPPORT" and use provided mounting screws. Most lighting fixture outlet boxes are not suitable for fan support and may need replacement. Consult an electrician if unsure. Secure the outlet box directly to the building structure; it must support at least 35 lbs.
- WARNING: Wire connectors are designed for one 12-gauge house wire and two fan lead wires. For larger house wires or more than one house wire, consult an electrician.
- WARNING: Do not bend blade arms during installation, balancing, or cleaning. Do not insert objects between rotating blades.
- WARNING: Use only provided parts. Using other parts voids the warranty.
- CAUTION: Ensure the outlet box is properly grounded or a ground wire is present.
- CAUTION: Check all screws, bolts, and nuts on the fan motor assembly for security.
- CAUTION: This equipment complies with FCC Rules Part 15 for Class B digital devices. It generates radio frequency energy and may cause interference. If interference occurs, try repositioning the antenna, increasing separation, using a different circuit, or consulting a dealer/technician. Unauthorized modifications may void user authority to operate.
Preparation
Before assembly, verify all parts are present by comparing them with the package and hardware contents lists. Do not attempt assembly if any part is missing or damaged.
Estimated Assembly Time: 120 minutes
Tools Required (not included): Electrical Tape, Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, Safety Glasses, Step Ladder, Wire Cutters, Wire Strippers.
Helpful Tools (not included): AC Tester Light, Tape Measure, Wiring Handbook.
Initial Installation
- Turn off circuit breakers and wall switch for the fan supply line. DANGER: Failure to disconnect power may result in serious injury or death.
- This fan is intended for Flushmount installation only. Standard, Angle, and Closemount installations are not available.
- Ensure blades (J) will be at least 30 inches from obstructions and 7 feet above the floor.
- Secure the upper mounting bracket (B) to the outlet box (not included) using screws and washers provided with the outlet box. CAUTION: Use proper hardware as it supports the fan.
- Remove the lower bracket screws (M) from the lower mounting bracket (D). Keep loose hardware separate.
- Place one tab of the lower mounting bracket (D) into a slot in the upper mounting bracket (B). Slide the second tab of (D) into the second slot on (B) until all four holes align.
- Re-install the removed lower bracket screws (M) to secure the lower mounting bracket (D) and the upper mounting bracket (B).
Wiring
WARNING: Use provided wire connectors for one 12-gauge house wire and two fan lead wires. Consult an electrician for larger wires or multiple connections.
CAUTION: Ensure the outlet box is properly grounded.
- Connect household supply and fan wires:
- Connect the Green wire from the fan to the Bare/Green supply wire.
- Connect the White wire from the fan to the White supply wire.
- Connect the Black and Blue wires from the fan to the Black supply wire.
- Secure all connections with wire connectors (AA).
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around each wire connector (AA) down to the wire.
- Turn spliced/taped wires upward and push them and connectors (AA) into the outlet box. WARNING: Ensure no bare wire or strands are visible. Place Green and White connections on the opposite side of the outlet box from Black and Blue connections.
Note: If a second hot/power wire exists from the outlet box, connect it to the blue (light power) fan wire for separate light and fan control.
Wire Identification: Black = Hot (fan), White = Common (fan & light kit), Blue = Hot (light), Green = Ground.
Final Installation
- Temporarily lift the motor housing (A) to the upper mounting bracket (B). Align two motor housing screws (O) on (B) with the slotted holes in the top edge of (A). Partially loosen these two screws (O). Remove the other two screws (O) from (B).
- Slide the motor housing (A) over the motor (E), aligning the slotted holes in (A) with the loosened screws (O) in (B). Twist (A) clockwise to lock. Re-insert the two previously removed screws (O) and tighten all screws securely.
- Remove the 10 motor screws (L) from the motor (E) and save for later use. A notch in the fitter plate allows access to these screws.
- Partially insert blade screws (BB) with blade washers (CC) through the blade (J) and into the blade arm (I). Tighten each blade screw (BB) with a Phillips screwdriver, starting with the middle one. Repeat for remaining blades (J) and arms (I).
- Install the blade arm (I) to the underside of the motor (E) using the previously removed motor screws (L). Tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Repeat for each blade arm (I).
- Remove the fitter plate screws (N) preassembled to the fitter plate (F). Connect the single-pin connectors from the fitter plate (F) and the light kit (G): blue to black, and white to white.
- Secure the light kit (G) to the fitter plate (F) by reinstalling the fitter plate screws (N).
- Unscrew the socket ring (K) from the socket of the light kit (G). Lift the glass shade (H) into the light cup. Secure the glass shade (H) by reinstalling the socket ring (K).
- Install bulbs (C) into the sockets of the light kit (G).
- Attach the pull chain extensions (DD) or custom pull chain extensions (not included) to the fan and light pull chains.
- Turn on the power supply to the fan. Assembly is complete.
Operating Instructions
- Fan Speed Control: The pull chain has four positions: One pull = HIGH, Two pulls = MEDIUM, Three pulls = LOW, Four pulls = OFF. The pull chain in the center of the light kit (G) turns the lights ON and OFF.
- Comfort Control: Using the ceiling fan can allow you to adjust your thermostat settings.
- Warmer Weather: Push the reverse switch (on the fitter plate [F]) left to display a sun icon ☀️. This results in downward airflow for a cooling effect.
- Cooler Weather: Push the reverse switch right to display a snowflake icon ❄️. This results in upward airflow to circulate warm air.
- Important: The reverse switch must be set fully left or right for the fan to operate correctly. If set in the middle, the fan will not work.
Care and Maintenance
- At least twice a year, tighten all screws on the fan.
- Clean the motor housing with a soft brush or lint-free cloth.
- Clean the blades with a lint-free cloth.
- Bulb Replacement: Use 40-watt max. E26-base LED, CFL, or incandescent bulbs. Halogen bulbs are not recommended.
- Important: Shut off the main power supply before any maintenance. Do not use water or a damp cloth to clean the fan.

Lifetime Limited Warranty
The manufacturer warrants the fan motor for the lifetime of the product against defects in workmanship and material. All other ceiling fan parts are warranted for one year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and material, excluding parts made of glass and finishes. Claims must be made by the original purchaser from an authorized dealer within the first year for parts defects.
Purchasers are responsible for all costs of removing and reinstalling the product. This warranty does not cover damage from wear and tear, accident, misuse, or improper installation. Service by a non-licensed electrician voids the warranty. The manufacturer's liability is limited to repair or replacement of the motor, parts, or product.
