Preparing Your Grill Toaster:
Plug into wall outlet. Lights on thermostat and timer knobs are off. Set timer; lights turn on (Red for thermostat, Green for timer). Adjust temperature to desired setting, starting with MAX. Thermostat knob light changes from "red+green" (heating) to "red" (ready). Preheating takes 3-5 minutes. Lights turn off when time is complete.
Cooking:
To Use as a Contact Grill:
- Set temperature.
- Prepare food (burgers, meat, vegetables) and place on bottom plate.
- Close top plate; it has a floating hinge for even pressure. Ensure it's fully lowered for grill marks.
- Use handle to open lid. Remove food with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use metal tongs or knives.
- Ideal for quick, healthy cooking, grilling both sides simultaneously. Ribbed plates and grease spout help drain fat.
To Use as Press Grill:
- Set temperature.
- Prepare sandwiches and place on bottom plate, towards the rear.
- Close top plate; ensure it's fully lowered.
- Cook for 3-6 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove food with a plastic spatula.

- Handle and hinge adjust to food thickness. Ensure consistent thickness for even cooking.
To Use as Open Grill:
- Place on a clean, flat surface.
- Position in flat mode: Upper plate/cover is level with lower plate/base, creating one large cooking surface.
- To open: Press hinge release lever on the right arm. Hold handle with left hand, slide lever with right hand towards you. Push handle back/up until cover rests flat.
- Suitable for burgers, steaks, poultry, fish, vegetables. (Not recommended for bone-in chicken due to uneven cooking).
- Open grill offers double the cooking surface area and is the most versatile method. Allows cooking different foods or large quantities separately.
