II. Preparation for Performance
Using AC/DC Power Supply Adaptor
Connect the unit to a special adaptor provided by the manufacturer or a power supply with a steady voltage (output voltage 12Vdc, output current over 350mA). Ensure the plug's center terminal is the positive pole. Connect one side of the adaptor to the power supply socket and the other to the mains power network. Verify the input voltage matches the power network.
Installation of Batteries (not included)
Open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard and insert 6 'D' size batteries (1.5V, SUM-1 R20 or equivalent), ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). If the voltage drops, replace the batteries. For prolonged non-use, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
Connection Amplifiers Or Acoustics
The instrument has a built-in speaker but can also be connected to external amplifiers or loudspeakers. Ensure both the instrument and external equipment are powered off before connecting. Use a stereo audio cable to connect the LINE IN or AUX IN jack of the external device to the L/R OUT jack on the instrument.
