Precautions
Read carefully before proceeding:
- Only use the designated power supply adaptor. Replace it if it shows wear and tear or malfunctions.
- Do not disassemble or modify the instrument. If a malfunction occurs, stop using it immediately and have it repaired by qualified personnel.
- Ensure both the instrument and any connected amplifiers are powered off when connecting them.
- Avoid prolonged use at high volume levels.
- Keep the instrument away from heat sources to prevent damage.
- Prevent dust, liquids, or other foreign objects from entering the instrument, as they can cause corrosion or short circuits.
- Unplug the instrument before cleaning. Avoid touching the plug or socket with wet hands.
- Clean the instrument with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners or solvents.
- Unplug the instrument when not in use for extended periods.
- Warning: Do not place the instrument close to your ear. Misuse can cause hearing damage.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Keep the packaging as it contains important information.

II. Preparation for Performance
Using AC/DC Power Supply Adaptor
Connect the unit to a suitable adaptor (12V DC, 350mA minimum) or a power supply with steady voltage. Ensure the center pin of the plug is positive. Connect one end of the adaptor to the power supply socket and the other to the city power network. The input voltage must match the power network's voltage.
Installation of Batteries (not included)
Install six 'D' size batteries (1.5V) into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity. If the voltage drops, replace the batteries. Remove batteries if the instrument will not be used for a long time.
Connection Amplifiers Or Acoustics
The instrument can be connected to external amplifiers or loudspeakers. Ensure both the instrument and the external equipment are switched off. Connect one end of a stereo cable to the LINE IN or AUX IN jack of the external equipment and the other end to the L/R OUT jack of the instrument.
Headphone/Microphone (not included)
Insert stereo headphones into the headphone jack to practice without disturbing others. The internal loudspeaker will automatically switch off. Insert a microphone into the microphone jack to sing along with the music.
III. Basic Method of Performance
Power On/Off
Press the POWER button. The display will show "120". Press it again to turn off the instrument.
Selection of Timbres
The instrument has 100 timbres (t00 to t99). The default timbre is "t00" (piano). Select timbres using the number buttons or the +/- buttons. Pressing the Timbre button activates timbre selection for the number buttons.
Master Volume Adjustment
The master volume has 16 stages (00 to 15), with a default of "10". Use the MASTER VOL+ and MASTER VOL- buttons to adjust the volume. Pressing both simultaneously resets the volume to "10". This also controls the accompaniment volume.
Demonstration Songs
There are 12 demonstration songs. Press DEMO ALL to play all songs sequentially, or DEMO ONE to play the current song repeatedly. To select another song, press DEMO ALL or DEMO ONE to stop the current song, then press the button again.
Percussions
There are 8 panel percussion buttons and 61 keyboard percussion keys. Pressing the PERCUSSION buttons selects a percussion sound. Pressing the KEYBOARD PERCUSSION button turns the keyboard into percussion keys, where each key plays a different percussion sound. Pressing it again returns the keyboard to normal.
IV. Auto-Rhythm
Rhythm Selection
The instrument offers 100 rhythms (r00 to r99). Press the RHYTHM button, then use the +/- buttons or number buttons to select a rhythm.
Rhythm Control
Start Rhythm:
- Press START/STOP to start the rhythm immediately.
- Press SYNC, then press a key on the left-hand keyboard to start the rhythm.
- Press INTRO/ENDING to start the rhythm after a prelude.
Fill in: Press FILL IN during accompaniment for an automatic intermezzo.
Stop the Accompaniment: Press START/STOP to stop. Press INTRO/ENDING to initiate the ending sequence.
Auto-metronome
There are 8 metronome settings (1/8 beat to 8/8 beat). Press the METRONOME button to cycle through the settings. Pressing it again stops the metronome.
Tempo Control
The tempo can be adjusted from 60 to 240 beats per minute in 46 stages using the TEMPO+ and TEMPO- buttons. Pressing both simultaneously resets the tempo to 120 beats per minute.
Accompaniment Volume Setting
The accompaniment volume is preset at "A13" and has 16 stages (A00 to A15). Use ACCOM VOL+ and ACCOM VOL- to adjust. This volume is also affected by the master volume.
V. Auto-Bass Chord
The instrument supports three chord modes: Single-finger, Fingered, and Manual Bass.
Single-finger Chord
Press SINGLE. "C-1" appears on the display. The left-hand keys become chord keys. Play chords using the single-finger scales. Press CHORD OFF to exit.
- Major: Press the basic key.
- Minor: Press the basic key and any black key to its left simultaneously.
- Seventh: Press the basic key and any white key to its left simultaneously.
- Minor Seventh: Press the basic key and one white key and one black key to its left simultaneously.

Fingered Chord
Press FINGERED. "C-2" appears on the display. The left-hand keys become chord keys. Play chords using fingered chord scales. Press CHORD OFF to exit.

Manual Bass
Press MANUAL BASS. The left-hand keys become bass keys, retaining their original timbre. You can change the timbre of other keys. Press CHORD OFF to exit manual bass mode.
VI. Effect Control
Transpose
Use the TRANSPOSE + and - buttons to change the key. The display shows the current setting (-6 to +6). Pressing both buttons simultaneously resets to "00".
Sustain Function
Press SUSTAIN. "S-1" appears on the display, and the sound sustains. Press again to turn it off ("S-0").
Vibrato Function
Press VIBRATO. "ON" appears on the display, and the sound has vibrato. Press again to turn it off ("OFF").
VII. Record and Playback
Recording
Press REC. "rEC" appears on the display. All played notes are recorded. Press REC again or after recording 63 notes to quit. "ICH" appears. Press PLAYBACK to play the recorded melody. "PLY" appears.
VIII. Program
This function allows you to create percussion accompaniments.
Programming
Press PROG. "Prg" appears. Select panel and keyboard percussions to edit a rhythm. The system exits after recording 32 notes.
Null Play
Press NULL PLAY. "Ply" appears, and the edited rhythm repeats. Press the button again or START/STOP to stop.
IX. Intelligent Teaching Function
One-key Function
Press ONE KEY. The demo song code appears. Press any key to start the main melody. Select a demo song using the DEMO button, then press ONE KEY to start it.
Taching Function
Press GUIDE. Press any note key to start the melody. If no keys are pressed for 5 seconds, the main melody will play automatically. The keyboard will then resume normal operation.
