Phone Setup

Charging Battery

Insert the small end of the charging cable into the charge port and connect the charger to a power outlet.

Turning Phone On/Off

Power On: Press and hold the End/Power Key until the phone powers on.

Power Off: Press and hold the End/Power Key until the phone displays 'Power Off and Restart'. Press the Center Soft Key to confirm power off.

First-Time Setup:

Select the phone's language, then press the Center Soft Key to proceed.
Select an available Wi-Fi network, then press the Center Soft Key to proceed.
Set Accessibility options, then press the Right Soft Key to finish or the Left Soft Key to skip.
Press the Center Soft Key to enter the Home screen.

Note: The phone can be used without a SIM card, allowing Wi-Fi connectivity and access to some features.

Changing Font Size

From the Home screen, press the Center Soft Key > Settings > Accessibility > Larger text. Press the Center Soft Key to toggle On/Off.
Alternatively, from the Home screen, press the Center Soft Key > Settings > Display > Font size > Small, Default, or Large. Press the Center Soft Key to confirm.

Setting Up Your Account

To create or sign in to an account, navigate to Settings > Accounts. Press the Right Soft Key to add a new account or sign in.

Using the Navigation Key

The Navigation Key is located above the keypad, surrounding the Center Soft Key.

Up: Access Internet.
Down: Access Recent apps.
Left: Access Email providers.
Right: Access Contacts list.
Center Soft Key: Access the App tray.

Security Settings

Lock/Unlock Screen:

To protect your phone, set a passcode via Settings > Phone settings > Security > Screen lock.
Press the Center Soft Key and select 'On' to enable. Enter the passcode twice and press the Center Soft Key to create.

SIM Security:

A SIM PIN prevents unauthorized access to the SIM card's cellular data networks. Enabling it requires entering the PIN upon restart. This is separate from the device's lock code.

Calls

Making a Call:

Dial the number and press the Call Key or Center Soft Key. Use the Back/Delete Key to correct digits. Press the Right Soft Key for more options.
From Call Log: Press the Call Key from the Home screen, select a contact, and press the Call Key.
From Contacts: Select Contacts from the app list, choose a contact, and press the Call Key.
Emergency Call: Dial the emergency number and press the Call Key. This works even without a SIM card or PIN.
International Call: Press the key twice for '+', enter the country prefix, the phone number, and press the Call Key.

Answering or Rejecting a Call:

Press the Quick Dial Button to answer with speakerphone ON.
If 'Flip open' is enabled in settings, opening the device answers the call.
Press the Center Soft Key or Call Key to answer.
Press the Right Soft Key or End/Power Key to reject.
Press the Left Soft Key to ignore with a message.
Pressing 'Any key' (if enabled in settings) also answers the call.
Press Volume Up/Down Key to mute the ringtone.

Calling Voicemail: Press and hold the '1' key.

Contacts

Viewing Contacts:

Press the Favorite Contacts Key from the Home screen for favorite contacts.
Press the Center Soft Key > Contacts from the Home screen.
Left Soft Key: Create and send a Message.
Center Soft Key: Access contact details.
Right Soft Key: Access more options.

Adding a Contact: On the contacts list, press Right Soft Key > New contact > Center Soft Key. Enter information and press Right Soft Key > Save > Center Soft Key.

Editing a Contact: Select a contact, press Center Soft Key to view details, press Center Soft Key again to edit. Press Right Soft Key > Save > Center Soft Key to save.

Deleting a Contact: Select a contact, press Right Soft Key > Delete, then press Right Soft Key to confirm.

Sharing a Contact: Select a contact, press Right Soft Key > Share to send via Email, Messages, or Bluetooth.

Speed Dial Contacts: On the contacts list, press Right Soft Key > Speed dial. Select numbers 2-9 and press Center Soft Key to add contacts. Long press the number keys on the Home screen to dial.

Messages

Send and receive text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages.

Sending a Text Message:

From the Home screen, press the Message Key or Center Soft Key > Message.
Press Left Soft Key to write a new message.
Enter the recipient's number in the 'To' bar or press Right Soft Key to add recipients.
Use the Navigation Key to enter the message text.
Press the '#' Key to switch input methods.
Press the Key to select symbols.
Press Left Soft Key for options.
Press Center Soft Key to send.

Sending a Multimedia Message (MMS):

Attach media files (images, videos, audio) or email addresses by pressing Right Soft Key from the text message screen and selecting 'Add attachment'. SMS messages over 160 characters or with special characters may be converted to MMS.

Getting Connected

Connect to the Internet using mobile networks (GPRS/EDGE/3G/LTE) or Wi-Fi.

Network Connection: Check network status in Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Network type and strength.

Data Connection: Turn off mobile data in Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Mobile data to avoid charges when not needed.

Wi-Fi:

Connect to Wi-Fi via Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi.
Press Left Soft Key to turn Wi-Fi on/off. Available networks will be listed.
Select a network and press Center Soft Key to connect. Enter password if required.

Connecting to a Computer:

Use the USB cable to connect the phone to a computer.
Access Settings > Phone settings > USB connection > Transfer files or Transfer photos (PTP).
The phone is compatible with Windows®, Mac OS®, and Linux.

Using Bluetooth®:

Enable Bluetooth in Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth.
Press Left Soft Key to turn Bluetooth on/off. Available devices will be listed.
Select a device and press Center Soft Key to pair.

Quick Dial Button

The Quick Dial Button allows quick access to a pre-set emergency contact.

Activate Quick Dial Button: Settings > Call settings > Quick dial > Activation. Press Center Soft Key to select 'On'.

Add Emergency Number: Settings > Call settings > Quick dial > Number > Empty. Press Center Soft Key to add manually or select from Contacts. Press Right Soft Key to edit or delete.

Calling Emergency Number: Press the Quick Dial Button 3 times quickly.

Status Bar Icons

The status bar displays phone status and notifications.

Notifications (Left Side): New text/multimedia message ☑, Missed call ?, New Email message ✉️, Upcoming event ?, New voicemail ?, Alarm set ⏰, Song playing ?.
Phone Status (Right Side): 4G LTE connected ?, Bluetooth® active ?, EDGE connected E, No SIM card installed ??, 2G connected 2G, Headset connected ?, Wi-Fi® active ?, Vibrate mode ?, Signal strength ?, No signal ??, Airplane mode ✈️, Roaming ?, Silent mode ?, Battery (fully charged) ?, Battery (charging) ⚡, Battery is very low (red bar) ?, Battery is low ?.
