WALL MOUNTING

Mount to a weatherproof Junction Box (by others) and Cover Plate (by others) as shown in Figure 1. To ensure weatherproof seal, apply weatherproof silicone sealant around the edge of the wall Cover Plate or surface box. This is especially important with an uneven wall surface.

  1. Seal Arm threads using Teflon® tape or silicone sealant.
  2. Thread fixture into Cover Plate (by others).
  3. Connect wires as shown in wiring diagram (Figure 6). Make appropriate wire connections per NEC.
  4. Attach Cover Plate to Junction Box (by others).
  5. Aim Fixture in the desired direction and tighten Locknut and Arm Screw to secure.

Figure 1: Illustrates wall mounting. A Junction Box (by others) is shown connected to a Cover Plate (by others). The fixture's arm threads into the Cover Plate. A Locknut and Arm Screw are visible for securing the fixture's position.

GROUND MOUNTING

Mount to a Mighty Post (ordered separately, RAB CAT# MP19) or similar as shown in Figure 2.

  1. Remove Mighty Post Cap and thread Fixture into Cap. Use silicone sealant or Teflon® tape around the thread of the Arm (refer to Figure 1 for thread sealing).
  2. Connect wires as shown in the wiring section (Figure 6). Make appropriate wire connections per NEC. Push all wires inside the Mighty Post.
  3. Place Mighty Post Cap on the Mighty Post and secure. Aim Fixture in the desired direction by loosening the Arm Screw, tighten Locknut and Arm Screw to secure.

Figure 2: Depicts ground mounting. A Mighty Post & Cap (ordered separately) is shown. The fixture's Arm Screw and Locknut are indicated for aiming adjustment.

LENS OPTIC ADJUSTMENT

Follow instructions below to change Beam Angle (Figure 3).

Selectable options are:

Factory Settings:

  1. Locate Optic Select Ring on the middle of the Housing as shown in Figure 3, and select the desired Beam Angle.

Figure 3: Shows the fixture with an "Optic Select Ring" on the housing. Arrows indicate the selectable beam angles for LFXS (17°, 33°, 47°) and LFXL (16°, 34°, 48°).

HOOD ADJUSTMENT

The Hood can rotate 360°, see Figure 4.

Figure 4: Illustrates the fixture's hood, which can rotate 360°. The Arm Screw is shown, likely used in conjunction with the hood or arm adjustment.

SETTING DEVICE TO PAIRING MODE

To restore your fixture to factory settings, use the following methods.

Method 1: Delete from App

Open the app and access the device settings for the paired device. Be sure that the fixture is online and select "Delete".

Method 2: Manual Reset

Power the fixture OFF and ON 5 times consecutively. Do not allow less than 1 second and more than 3 seconds to elapse between switching. The fixture will flash 3 times then reset to 100% brightness at default CCT.

Method 3: Rapid Reset Tool

The rapid reset process must be done by a professional electrician qualified by RAB. Reach out to your RAB sales manager to request a Rapid Reset Tool. The tool simply needs to be placed directly on the HALL RESET POSITION (Figure 5) for 2 seconds. The fixture will flash 3 times then reset to 100% brightness at default CCT.

Figure 5: Shows a close-up of the fixture base, highlighting the "Hall Reset Position" where the Rapid Reset Tool should be applied.
