Washer Safety
Save these instructions. Your safety is paramount. Follow these basic precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury.
Read all instructions before using your washer:
- Do not use or store flammable fluids (e.g., dry-cleaning solvents, kerosene, gasoline) in or near the washer. Avoid adding them to wash water as they can create fire hazards or explosions.
- Do not reach into the washer until all motion has stopped after starting a cycle.
- Do not tamper with controls.
- The appliance is not intended for use by unsupervised young children or infirm persons.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
- If the appliance uses an extension cord or portable outlet device, ensure it is positioned to prevent splashing or moisture ingress.
Please:
- Have qualified personnel perform installation, repairs, or part replacements.
- Maintain the washer properly.
- Protect the washer from weather and extreme temperatures (avoid freezing).
- Avoid installing the washer in areas of extremely high humidity, which could cause electric shock or short circuits.
- Connect the washer to the correct electrical outlet, water supply, and drain supply.
Understanding Your Responsibilities:
- Do not mix chlorine bleach with ammonia or acids (like vinegar or rust remover) in the same wash, as hazardous fumes may form.
- Unplug the power supply cord before servicing the washer.
- Do not wash fiberglass materials, as small particles can stick to fabrics and cause skin irritation.
- Avoid spraying water on the control panel, as this could cause fire or electric shock.
- For dual-valve models, connecting only the cold water inlet while selecting hot or warm water temperature may cause leakage from the unconnected inlet valve.
- This appliance must be grounded. Use a metal pipe for grounding to avoid electrical shock.
Installation Instructions
Removing Transit Bolts:
- Before operation, remove the four transit bolts and rubber components. Failure to do so may cause heavy vibration, noise, and malfunction.
- Use the supplied spanner to unscrew the four bolts. Keep them for future transport.
- Close the holes with the provided cap holders.
Location of Washer:
- Ensure the installation location is suitable and all necessary items are ready.
- Do not place or store the washer below 0°C (32°F) to prevent freezing damage.
- Do not place laundry products on top of the washer.
- Install the washer on a horizontal, solid floor to prevent excessive noise, vibration, or malfunction. Adjust the legs if the washer is not level.
- Ensure ventilation openings are not obstructed, especially on carpeted floors.
- Maintain recommended clearances: 2cm on the sides and 10cm at the rear. For built-in installations, ensure at least 3mm clearance between the top of the washer and the bottom of the upper plate.
Inlet Hose Connection
Connect the washer to the water mains using new hose sets. Old hose sets should not be reused. If using only one water tap or inlet valve, connect to the cold water inlet valve. Be careful not to confuse hot and cold water inlets.
For Ordinary Tap:
- Pull down the collar of the inlet hose to separate it from the water tap adapter.
- Loosen the four screws on the adapter to fit it onto the water tap.
- Fit the adapter onto the water tap, tightening the screws evenly while pushing up to ensure the rubber packing seals tightly.
- Remove any tape and screw connector B into connector A tightly.
- Connect the inlet hose to the water tap adapter by pulling down the collar of the hose end.
- Connect the inlet hose adapter to the washer's water inlet, turning clockwise until secure. Check the rubber packing inside the adapter.
For Screw-Shaped Tap:
- Connect the inlet hose to the water tap by screwing the connector tightly.
- Connect the connector-inlet if necessary.
- Connect the inlet hose adapter to the washer's water inlet and turn to fix it. Check the packing in the inlet.
Electrical Requirements
WARNING: Electrical shock hazard. Failure to follow these instructions could result in death or serious injury.
- Electrical earth is required on this washer.
- If the outlet does not fit, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
- Do not earth to a gas pipe.
- Do not alter the power supply cord plug.
- Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about proper earthing.
Recommended Earthing Method:
For personal safety, this washer must be earthed. It is equipped with a power supply cord (A) with an earthing plug (B). To minimize shock hazard, plug into a mating earthing-type wall receptacle (C). If such a receptacle is unavailable, the customer is responsible for having a proper earthed receptacle installed by a qualified electrician.
Drain System:
- Always install the drain hose before operating the washer.
- The drain hose is located inside the drum.
- Connect the drain hose to the drain outlet at the back of the washer.
- Secure the drain hose properly to prevent floor damage from water leakage.
- If the drain hose is too long, do not force it back into the washer, as this can cause abnormal noise.
- For Pump Model: The top of the laundry tub must be between 60cm and 100cm high.
- For Non-Pump Model: Ensure the drain hose is not elevated in the middle. The end of the drain hose should not be immersed in water. If extending the hose, use a straight end, not a 'Γ' type.
- If you need to extend the drain hose, contact the sales agent or service center.
Level Adjustment:
Installing the washer on an unsuitable floor can cause noise, vibration, and malfunction. Adjust the washer's level using the adjustable legs:
- Check for gaps between the adjustable legs and the floor.
- Turn the adjustable legs using the spanner to level the washer and ensure it does not sway. Tighten the fixing nuts securely.
- Press down on the top plate corners to confirm the washer is stable and does not sway. Ensure all adjustable legs are firmly on the floor.
Operating Your Washer
Follow these instructions for optimal washing results.
Preparing Clothes for Washing:
- Close zippers, snaps, and hooks to prevent snagging.
- Remove pins, buckles, and other hard objects that could scratch the washer interior.
- Empty pockets and turn them inside out.
- Turn down cuffs and turn synthetic knits inside out to prevent pilling.
- Tie strings and sashes to avoid tangling.
- Treat spots and stains before washing (refer to "Removing Stains" on page 29).
Sorting:
- Separate heavily soiled items from lightly soiled ones.
- Separate dark colors from light colors and colorfast items from non-colorfast items.
- Sort clothes by soil level (Heavy, Normal, Light), color (White, Lights, Darks), and lint production (producers and collectors).
Loading:
- Drop items loosely into the washer for better water circulation and wrinkle-free results.
- Load properly and select the correct load size. Overloading or selecting too small a load size can lead to poor cleaning, increased wrinkling, excessive lint, and faster wear.
- Mix large and small items for balance. Load evenly to prevent vibration during spin.
- Reduce wash time for small loads.
- Use a larger load size setting for permanent press clothes and synthetics to reduce wrinkling.

- Avoid placing sharp or metal objects in the washer, as they can damage the finish. Check pockets for small items.
Winter Storage or Moving Care:
Store the washer in a frost-free location. If storing or moving during freezing weather, winterize it by turning off the water faucet, disconnecting and draining hoses, running a drain/spin cycle for 1 minute, and unplugging the power cord. To use again, flush pipes/hoses, reconnect hoses, turn on water, and reconnect power.
Non-Use or Vacation Care:
If not using the washer for an extended period, unplug the power cord or turn off electrical power, and turn off the water supply to the washer to prevent accidental flooding.
How to Clean the Filter
Cleaning the Water Inlet Filter:
- Pull the power plug out before cleaning.
- Turn off the water supply and separate the inlet hose.
