Washer Safety

Save these instructions. Your safety is paramount. Follow these basic precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury.

Read all instructions before using your washer:

Please:

Understanding Your Responsibilities:

Installation Instructions

Removing Transit Bolts:

  1. Before operation, remove the four transit bolts and rubber components. Failure to do so may cause heavy vibration, noise, and malfunction.
  2. Use the supplied spanner to unscrew the four bolts. Keep them for future transport.
  3. Close the holes with the provided cap holders.

Location of Washer:

Inlet Hose Connection

Connect the washer to the water mains using new hose sets. Old hose sets should not be reused. If using only one water tap or inlet valve, connect to the cold water inlet valve. Be careful not to confuse hot and cold water inlets.

For Ordinary Tap:

  1. Pull down the collar of the inlet hose to separate it from the water tap adapter.
  2. Loosen the four screws on the adapter to fit it onto the water tap.
  3. Fit the adapter onto the water tap, tightening the screws evenly while pushing up to ensure the rubber packing seals tightly.
  4. Remove any tape and screw connector B into connector A tightly.
  5. Connect the inlet hose to the water tap adapter by pulling down the collar of the hose end.
  6. Connect the inlet hose adapter to the washer's water inlet, turning clockwise until secure. Check the rubber packing inside the adapter.

For Screw-Shaped Tap:

  1. Connect the inlet hose to the water tap by screwing the connector tightly.
  2. Connect the connector-inlet if necessary.
  3. Connect the inlet hose adapter to the washer's water inlet and turn to fix it. Check the packing in the inlet.

Electrical Requirements

WARNING: Electrical shock hazard. Failure to follow these instructions could result in death or serious injury.

Recommended Earthing Method:

For personal safety, this washer must be earthed. It is equipped with a power supply cord (A) with an earthing plug (B). To minimize shock hazard, plug into a mating earthing-type wall receptacle (C). If such a receptacle is unavailable, the customer is responsible for having a proper earthed receptacle installed by a qualified electrician.

Drain System:

Level Adjustment:

Installing the washer on an unsuitable floor can cause noise, vibration, and malfunction. Adjust the washer's level using the adjustable legs:

  1. Check for gaps between the adjustable legs and the floor.
  2. Turn the adjustable legs using the spanner to level the washer and ensure it does not sway. Tighten the fixing nuts securely.
  3. Press down on the top plate corners to confirm the washer is stable and does not sway. Ensure all adjustable legs are firmly on the floor.

Operating Your Washer

Follow these instructions for optimal washing results.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Washer:

Winter Storage or Moving Care:

Store the washer in a frost-free location. If storing or moving during freezing weather, winterize it by turning off the water faucet, disconnecting and draining hoses, running a drain/spin cycle for 1 minute, and unplugging the power cord. To use again, flush pipes/hoses, reconnect hoses, turn on water, and reconnect power.

Non-Use or Vacation Care:

If not using the washer for an extended period, unplug the power cord or turn off electrical power, and turn off the water supply to the washer to prevent accidental flooding.

How to Clean the Filter

Cleaning the Water Inlet Filter:

  1. Pull the power plug out before cleaning.
  2. Turn off the water supply and separate the inlet hose.
  3. Pull out the inlet filter.
  4. Remove dirt from the filter with a brush.

Cleaning the Drain Filter (For Pump Model):

This filter removes foreign objects. Clean it approximately every 10 uses to prevent drain problems. Be careful when draining hot water.

  1. Open the lower cover with a coin and remove the cap hose to pull out the hose.
  2. Unplug the cap hose, allowing water to flow into a vessel. Once water stops flowing, turn the pump filter counter-clockwise to open it.
  3. Remove foreign material from the pump filter. After cleaning, turn the pump filter clockwise, reinsert the cap hose, and close the lower cover.

Cleaning the Detergent Case:

Detergent and fabric softener can leave deposits. Clean the case periodically with running water. It can be removed by pressing the catch downwards. The fabric softener compartment can also be removed for easier cleaning. Clean the recess with a brush. After cleaning, replace the case and run a rinse cycle without laundry.

PROBLEM CHECK POINT
Washer will not operate at all. Check for power failure, ensure power cord is connected, power is on, and Start/Hold button is pressed. Verify correct laundry amount.
Water is not supplied (Error display E1). Ensure inlet hose is connected and water tap is open. Check if hose or tap is frozen, or if water supply is off. Check inlet hose filter for blockages.
Washer will not drain (Error display DE). Check if drain hose is frozen or blocked. Ensure it is not kinked or deformed. Verify the end of the drain hose is not immersed in water. Check drain filter for dirt.
Washer will not spin (Error display LE). Check if clothes are collected on one side. Ensure the washer is on a level floor and vibration is not severe. Check if the door is properly closed (door open lamp indicates issue).
Washer stops during spinning / Spinning is insufficient (Error display PFE for Pump Model). Check if the drain pump filter is clogged or if the drain pump is operating. Verify proper detergent amount is used. Ensure drain hose is not placed higher than 1m above the floor.
