Tellur Smart Home Devices User Manual
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using Tellur Smart Home devices, including app installation, voice assistant integration, and troubleshooting.
Getting Started with the Tellur Smart App
To begin using your Tellur Smart devices, download and install the Tellur Smart App on your iOS or Android device from the App Store or Google Play.
Once downloaded, the app will prompt you to register. You can use your phone number or email address. Select your country. If you use a phone number, you will receive a registration code via text. If you use email, you will create a password.
Registration Steps:
- Open the Tellur Smart App.
- Tap "Register".
- Enter your phone number or email address and select your country.
- If using a phone number, enter the received registration code. If using email, create a password.
- Sign in to the app.
Adding a New Device
Follow these steps to add a new Tellur Smart device:
- Ensure the device is powered on and its indicator light is flashing quickly (this usually signifies it's ready for pairing).
- Open the Tellur Smart App and tap the "+" icon to add a device.
- Select the appropriate device type from the list.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Once connected, the app will confirm the connection. You can then rename the device or tap "Done".
Connection Modes:
Tellur Smart devices can be connected using two modes: EZ and AP.
- EZ Mode: The easiest and quickest way to connect. Requires the device, an active Wi-Fi network with password, and the Tellur Smart App on your smartphone/tablet. The indicator light typically flashes quickly in this mode.
- AP Mode: Used for configuring and enabling a smart device first with your smartphone/tablet, and then connecting it to the Wi-Fi network. The indicator light typically flashes slowly in this mode.
How to Reset a Device:
- Heaters, Oil Heaters, etc.: Long-press the reset button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes. A fast flash (2 times/sec) indicates quick connect mode (EZ), and a slow flash (1 time/3 sec) indicates AP mode.
- Smart Lights/Switches: Turn off the device. Then, perform a sequence of ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (within 10 seconds). Flashing lights indicate a successful reset. A fast flash (4 times/sec) indicates EZ mode; a slow flash (2 times/3 sec) indicates AP mode. To switch between modes, repeat the ON-OFF sequence.
