Installation
Battery Installation
This product supports rechargeable lithium batteries, including models like NP-F550/F570/F750/F770/F960/F970.
- Gently press the battery inwards and slide it to the left until it clicks into place.
- To remove the battery, press and hold the battery release key, slide the battery to the right, and then remove it.
Adapter Installation
- Select the mounting direction of the adapter based on the camera's hot shoe.
- Align the adapter's 1/4 screw with the 1/4 screw hole on the monitor.
- Tighten the adapter's adjustment knob.
- Insert the adapter's base into the camera's universal hot shoe and tighten the rotary table to secure it.
Sunshade Hood Installation
- Place the monitor onto the two bottom brackets of the hood.
- Gently buckle the top of the hood frame upwards to complete the installation.
- To remove the hood, pull the top frame outward.
Note: When using cameras with a pop-up flash, turn off the built-in flash and any auto-flash functions. Remove the monitor before using the camera's flash.
Connection of HDMI High-Definition Signal Cable
- Connect the monitor to the camera using the provided HDMI cable.
- Turn on the camera and the monitor. The camera's viewfinder image should appear on the monitor's LCD screen. If the camera has HDMI output settings, set it to AUTO or 16:9.
Notes:
- If no image is displayed on the monitor, check if the camera is outputting an HDMI signal or if the cable is disconnected.
- The backlight can be reactivated by pressing the monitor's rotary key, operating the camera to output HDMI signals, or reconnecting the HDMI cable and powering on the camera.
- Ensure the camera is in capture mode when taking photos. If the camera has no live view function, images may not display on the monitor.
- When the monitor is connected, images might only display on the monitor and not the camera's screen.
- Ensure the monitor's volume is not set to 0 and the camera's sound is not set to OFF when using headphones.
Menu Function
Menu Operation:
- Press the Knob Key (⑥) to the right to display the menu options.
- Rotate the Knob Key (⑥) up or down to select an option.
- Press the Knob Key (⑥) to the right again to enter the function options.
- Press the Return Key (③) to go back to the previous menu.
Menu Structure:
- Level-1 Menu (Primary Menu): Input, System, Monitoring Tools, Mark and Composition, Image, Waveform.
- Level-2 Menu: Includes options like Source (HDMI), System Settings, Shortcut Settings (for F1/F2/F3), Image Freezing, Gravity-induced Flip, Mirror Image Flipping, Scanning Mode, Pixel to Pixel, Monochrome, Zebra Stripe, False Color, Focus Peaking, De-squeeze, Frame Zoom, Aspect Ratio Zoom, Mark Ratio, Triple Centerline, Safe Area, Tag Setting.

- Horizontal lines or afterimages may appear on the screen in cold environments; this is normal and will resolve as the screen warms up.
- Displaying static images for extended periods can cause afterimages or ghosting.
- The screen and chassis may become warm during operation, which is not a malfunction.
- LCD screen technology may result in a few "bright spots" or dark pixels, or flickering pixels; these are not malfunctions.
Cleaning
- Remove the battery before cleaning.
- The LCD screen surface is specially treated; improper maintenance may reduce its performance.
- Gently wipe the screen or chassis with a soft, dry cloth (e.g., cleaning cloth or glass cleaning cloth).
- Use a neutral detergent for stubborn stains.
- Do not use thinners, alcohol, or other organic solvents, as they can damage the chassis and screen.
- Avoid using rough cloths that may scratch the chassis surface.
- Prolonged contact between the chassis and rubber or vinyl products may damage or peel the surface coating.
