Operation and Settings
Eyepiece Adjustment
Adjust the eyepiece knob to focus the target for a clear view.
Turning On/Off
Press the Power button [▶️] to turn on. The device will automatically turn off after 8 seconds of inactivity.
Unit Change
Long press the [M] button for 2 seconds to switch between meters (m) and yards (Yd).
Measuring Mode Change
Short press the [M] button to cycle through the following measurement modes:
- Distance, Height, Angle Mode: Measures distance, height, and angle.
- Golf Trajectory Mode: Measures distance, trajectory distance, and angle.
- Speed Measurement Mode: Measures speed from 18-300 km/h. For accuracy, the angle of measurement should be less than 10°.
- Golf Trajectory (Scan) Mode: Aim at the target, short press the Measure button [▶️] (flag icon ⛳ will flash). Scan slowly back and forth across the target. After 1.5 seconds, the flag icon stops flashing, displaying the distance, trajectory distance, and angle.
Measurement Notes
- Before measuring, adjust the eyepiece knob for a clear target view.
- If the target reflection is weak or out of range, '---' will be displayed.
- The measurement range depends on target properties, surface angle, and weather visibility. Smoother, brighter, larger targets with perpendicular beam incidence and clear weather yield longer ranges.
- Continuous measurement is activated by long-pressing the Measure button [▶️] for 2 seconds and stops when released.
Battery Installation
The device is powered by one CR2 battery. Replace the battery when the low battery indicator ? appears, as low battery can increase measurement errors. Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- Pull up the rotary handle on the battery cover and turn it counter-clockwise to open the cover.
- Install one CR2 battery, observing correct polarity.
- After installing the battery, tighten the battery cover clockwise and then press down the rotary handle.
