WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:

  • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not operate the vacuum cleaner or charger if it has been damaged. Return damaged units to a service center.
  • Do not operate the vacuum cleaner while charging to avoid excessive heat and damage.
  • Do not allow children to use the vacuum cleaner as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
  • Use only as described in this manual and with manufacturer's recommended attachments.
  • Only use the provided charging adapter.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge outside the specified temperature range to prevent battery damage and fire risk.
  • Do not handle the charger or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
  • DO NOT MUTILATE OR INCINERATE BATTERIES AS THEY WILL EXPLODE AT HIGH TEMPERATURES.
  • If battery cells leak, wash skin with water immediately. If liquid gets into eyes, flush with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
  • Keep vacuum cleaner terminals free of objects to prevent burns from inserted metal objects.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and body parts away from openings and moving parts, as the vacuum creates suction and has a revolving brushroll.
  • Do not put objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked to ensure proper air flow.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use without a filter in place. Never insert fingers or objects into the fan chamber when servicing, as the unit could turn on accidentally.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  • Prevent unintentional starting: Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids like gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not expose the appliance to fire or excessive temperature (above 265°F) as it may cause explosion.
  • Locate the charger indoors in a cool, dry area, protected from weather.
  • Keep your work area well-lighted.
  • Unplug electrical appliances before vacuuming them.
  • Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or battery pack, except as indicated in the instructions.
  • Always turn off the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the motorized nozzle.
