Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner

Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the Electrolux Ultimate 700, Animal 700, and Hygienic 700 series of cordless stick vacuum cleaners. These models offer powerful cleaning performance for various household needs.

Main Unit and Components

The vacuum cleaner consists of a main unit housing the motor, dustbin, and battery. This unit connects to a wand, which in turn connects to a floor head or other accessory. A charging stand is provided for convenient storage and charging.

Accessories

A range of accessories are available to enhance the vacuum's functionality for different cleaning tasks. These may include various floor heads for carpets and hard floors, upholstery tools, crevice tools, and dusting brushes. Please note that the included accessories may vary depending on the specific model purchased.

Diagrams on page 2 show the main vacuum unit, charging stand, and various attachments including brush heads, crevice tools, and different floor heads for carpets and hard floors.

Assembly and Charging

Charging Stand Assembly and Wall Mounting

The charging stand can be assembled by connecting its parts. For wall mounting, a bracket is provided. The bracket is attached to the wall using screws, and the charging stand is then secured to the bracket. Ensure the charging stand is mounted at a suitable height, indicated by a 'MIN' mark.

Diagrams on page 3 illustrate the assembly of the charging stand and its attachment to a wall using screws and a mounting bracket.

Charging the Battery

To charge the vacuum cleaner, place the main unit onto the charging stand. The battery is rechargeable and provides power for cordless operation. A full charge typically takes approximately 4.5 hours, indicated by the battery indicator reaching 100%.

Page 3 shows the battery being inserted into the charging dock and a battery indicator displaying charge levels: 100% ?, 50-75% ?, 25-50% ?, and 0% ?.

Operation

Controls and Indicators

The main unit features a control panel. The primary controls include an ON/OFF button and buttons for adjusting the cleaning mode (e.g., AUTO, +/- for power levels). Indicators display the battery charge level ?, and the status of the dustbin or filter (often indicated by a water drop ? symbol, suggesting cleaning is needed).

The central diagram on page 4 shows the control panel with AUTO mode, power adjustment (+/-), ON/OFF buttons, and indicators for battery, suction power, and dustbin/filter status.

Using the Vacuum Cleaner

Assemble the vacuum by connecting the main unit to the wand and then attaching the desired floor head or accessory. The vacuum can be used with different floor heads suitable for carpets and hard floors. The 'CLICK' sound indicates that parts are securely attached.

Page 5 illustrates the process of assembling the vacuum cleaner, showing how the main unit connects to the wand and how various accessories (numbered 1-6) are attached. These include brush heads, floor heads, and other tools.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Cleaning the Brush Roll

The brush roll may require cleaning to remove tangled hair or debris. This typically involves removing the brush roll from the floor head, cleaning it under running water (maximum 40°C), and ensuring it is completely dry before reinstallation. Some models may have a lock mechanism to release the brush roll, and scissors ✂️ may be needed to cut away tangled hair.

Diagrams on page 6 and 7 show how to remove and clean the brush roll, including using scissors to cut hair and a lock mechanism.

Filter Maintenance

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with filters that require regular cleaning or replacement to maintain optimal performance. Filters can often be washed with water (maximum 40°C). Ensure the filter is completely dry (e.g., allow 24 hours ⏳ for drying) before placing it back into the dustbin. Refer to the manual for specific filter types and replacement schedules (e.g., 1 year ?, 6 months ?️).

Page 6 and 7 detail filter cleaning procedures, including washing filters (Max 40°C) and drying them. The dustbin is shown being emptied and cleaned.

Dustbin Emptying

Empty the dustbin regularly to prevent performance degradation. The dustbin can usually be detached from the main unit for easy emptying.
