IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS ARE VERY IMPORTANT.

We have provided many important safety messages in the user manual and your appliance. Always read and obey all safety messages. This is the safety alert symbol: ⚠

All safety messages will follow the safety alert symbol and the word "DANGER" or "WARNING".

These words mean:

Do not follow instructions strictly can result in serious injury.

All safety messages provide information about potential hazards, outline measures to reduce the chance of injury, and describe the consequences of not following the instructions. When using electrical appliances, follow basic safety measures to reduce the risk of danger. Before using the appliance, make sure to read all instructions carefully.

  1. Do not use this or any other device with a damaged cord.
  2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
  3. This ice maker must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
  4. Only connect to properly polarized outlets. Do not plug any other appliance into the same outlet. Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the receptacle.
  5. Do not run the power cord over carpeting or other heat insulators. Do not cover the cord.
  6. Keep the cord away from traffic areas, and do not submerge in water.
  7. We do not recommend the use of an extension cord, as it may overheat and cause danger. If you must use an extension cord, use No.14AWG minimum size and rated no less than 1875 watts.
  8. Unplug the ice maker before cleaning or making any repairs or servicing.
  9. Exercise caution and use reasonable supervision when the appliance is used near children.
  10. Do not use your ice maker outdoors. Place the ice-maker away from direct sunlight and ensure that there are at least 4 inches of space between the back of your unit and the wall. Keep a minimum distance of 4 inches on each side of your unit free.
  11. Do not use other liquids to make the ice cube other than water.
  12. Do not clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes can cause danger.
  13. Do not tip over.
  14. If the ice maker is brought in from outside during winter, give it a few hours to warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.

WARNING: This appliance must be earthed.

DANGER - Do not use mechanical devices to defrost the ice maker.

DANGER - To be repaired only by trained service personnel. Do not puncture refrigerant tubing.

CAUTION - Consult the repair manual/owner's guide before attempting to install or service this product. Follow all safety precautions.

Install the ice maker according to the safety standards for Refrigeration Systems, ASHRAE15. Do not install the ice maker in the corridors or hallways of public buildings.

If the unit with the problem needs to be maintained, replacing it with like components and servicing shall be done by factory-authorized service personnel, to minimize the risk of possible ignition due to incorrect parts or improper service.

The wires in this mains lead are colored in accordance with the following code:

To avoid a hazard due to instability of the appliance, it must be placed at an even or flat surface.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR UNIT

- GENERAL INSTRUCTION

AUTOMATIC SELF-CLEANING PROGRAM

To initiate the self-cleaning process, plug in the unit and press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel for more than 5 seconds. The self-cleaning cycle takes 30 minutes. During cleaning, the "Ice Full, Add water" indicator will flash alternately. After cleaning, drain the water from the inner tank through the drainage outlet at the bottom of the machine.

OPERATING & MAINTENANCE

- POSITION OF CONTROL PANEL & FUNCTION

The Control Panel is designed for ease of use with a visible touch display. The functions are indicated by letters:

UNPACKING YOUR ICE MAKER

  1. Remove the outer and inner packaging. Check if the ice basket and ice scoop are included. Contact customer service if any parts are missing.
  2. Remove any tapes securing the ice shovel, ice basket, and ice scoop. Clean the tank and ice basket.
  3. Place the ice maker on a level, flat countertop away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., stove, furnace, radiator). Ensure at least a 4-inch gap between the back of the unit and the wall, and a 4-inch gap on each side.
  4. Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in the ice maker.
  5. Ensure the appliance is positioned so the power plug is accessible.

WARNING: Fill with potable water only.

ASSEMBLE HANDLE

Rotate the handle to align with the mounting hole on the machine and attach it securely.

CONNECTING

DANGER

Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. Please call customer service if the power cord is damaged.

  1. This unit must be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong plug designed to mate with standard three-prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electric shock.
  2. Plug your appliance into an exclusive, properly installed, grounded wall outlet. Never cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. For questions regarding power or grounding, consult a certified electrician.
  3. This appliance requires a standard 110-120 Volt, 60Hz electrical outlet with a three-prong ground.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINING

It is highly recommended to clean your ice maker thoroughly before first use.

  1. Remove the ice basket.
  2. Clean the interior with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth.
  3. Rinse the inside parts with water and drain any residual water by unplugging the drain cap on the front bottom side.
  4. Clean the exterior of the ice maker regularly with a mild detergent solution and warm water.
  5. Dry the interior and exterior with a clean, soft cloth.
  6. If the machine will not be used for an extended period, drain all water completely and dry the interior.

USING

  1. Open the cover, remove the ice basket, and pour water into the tank. Ensure the water level remains below the maximum water level mark.
  2. Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to start the ice-making cycle.
  3. The ice-making cycle typically takes 6 to 13 minutes, depending on the selected ice cube size and the ambient room temperature. The recommended room temperature is 50°F to 105°F.
  4. If the water pump cannot inject water, the ice maker will stop automatically, and the "ADD WATER" indicator will illuminate. Press the "ON/OFF" button, fill the water up to the maximum water level mark, and press "ON/OFF" again to restart the unit. Allow the refrigerant liquid inside the compressor at least 3 minutes to settle before restarting.
  5. The ice maker stops when the ice basket is full, and the "ICE FULL" indicator will light up.

Warning: Direct sunlight or sunlight reflection can cause infrared sensor malfunction. If the unit does not stop even when ice cubes obstruct the sensor, relocate the unit to a shaded area.

Change the water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to maintain a reasonable hygiene level. If the unit is not in use, drain all water and dry the tank.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
"ADD WATER" indicator is on. Lack of Water. Stop the ice maker, fill water, and press "ON/OFF" button again to restart the unit.
"ICE FULL" indicator is on. Ice is full in basket. Remove ice from ice basket. Keep pressing the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds, and the unit could make ice 10 cycles even "Ice" indicator is on.
Ice cubes stick together. The ice making cycle is too long. Stop the ice maker, and restart it when the ice blocks melt. Select the small-size ice cube selection.
Ice making cycle is normal but no ice formed. Water temperature in inner tank is too low. The temperature of water recommended is 40°F-90°F.
Room temperature or water temperature in inner tank is too high. The room temperature should be 50°F-105°F, water temperature should be 40°F-90°F.
Refrigerant in cooling system leaks. Verify by a qualified technician.
Pipe in the cooling system is blocked. Verify by a qualified technician.
