DIY Learning (IR): If you cannot find the brand of the device in the list, click “DIY” to learn the buttons of other brands’ remote controls. This allows you to control the device. It only supports 38KHz IR frequency. If the IR remote cannot receive commands, the IR device’s frequency might not match.
-
DIY Learning (RF): You can also control RF-enabled devices by learning the buttons of the RF device’s remote control. Once a button is learned successfully, press it to check if it works. RF remote only supports fixed radio frequency 315MHz and 433.92 MHz. Some high-security devices use rolling code and encrypted code, which cannot be copied.

FAQ
-
How many devices can be controlled in the APP? You can create 20 homes in the APP, and each home can add up to 200 devices. In total, one APP can control 4000 devices.
-
What should we do when we cannot use the IR remote to control a device? IR cannot penetrate walls, so ensure there is no obstacle between the IR remote and the IR devices.
-
Can I control devices through 2G/3G/4G network? Both the IR remote and the mobile device are required to share the same Wi-Fi network when adding the IR remote. After configuration is done, you can control devices through 2G/3G/4G networks. Currently, it does not support 5G networks.
-
What should I do when the device configuration process fails? You can:
- Check if the IR remote is powered on.
- Check if your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Check your network connectivity; ensure the Wi-Fi router is working properly.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi password is correct.
-
What should I do if the device is often offline?
- Check if the router is powered off or disconnected from the network.
- Check if the router has been replaced, or if the Wi-Fi name or password has been changed.
- Confirm if the device has just updated its firmware. The device will disconnect from the network during firmware updates and reconnect automatically upon completion.
- The Wi-Fi signal for the device is too poor.
- The device's location is too far from the router.
- If the device goes offline after a period of use, but returns to normal after restarting the router or re-networking the device, it indicates the router is overloaded. Consider replacing it with a more powerful one or reducing the number of connected devices.
- You can also use a phone hotspot to check if the issue is network-related.
-
What should we do when learning the buttons for an IR device? It only supports 38KHz IR frequency. If the IR remote cannot receive commands from the IR device, it is likely that the frequency of the IR device does not match, making it unable to study commands. Please check the IR frequency of the device.
-
What should we do when we learn the buttons of RF devices?
- When the App pops up a window, long-press the button until it shows “learning succeeded”. If it fails after three tries, try short-pressing the buttons.
- RF remote only supports fixed radio frequency 315MHz and 433.92 MHz.
- For devices with higher security needs, some remotes use rolling code and encrypted code, so you cannot copy the buttons. Fixed codes include 1527 series, PT 2262/2264/2267. Rolling codes include HCS 301/300.
