FAQ
- What voltage of adapter should I use?
Please ONLY use a 5V power adapter to supply power, and ensure the adapter's current is at least 1A. Otherwise, the smart IR Remote will not work properly.
- What should I do when the device configuration process fails?
- Check whether the IR remote is powered on.
- Check whether your mobile phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Check your network connectivity; ensure the Wi-Fi router is working properly.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Can the IR remote go through walls or be used to control devices in upstairs/downstairs rooms?
IR signals cannot penetrate walls. Ensure there are no obstacles between the IR remote and the IR devices.
- What should I do if the device is often offline?
- Check whether the router is powered off or disconnected from the network.
- Check whether the router has been replaced, or the Wi-Fi name or password has been changed.
- Confirm whether the device has just updated its firmware. The device will be disconnected from the network during firmware updates and will automatically reconnect after the update is completed.
- The Wi-Fi signal of the device is too weak.
- The device's location is too far from the router.
- If the device goes offline after a period of use, but returns to normal after restarting the router or re-networking the device, it indicates the router is overloaded due to long-term high-load use. You may need to replace it with a more powerful one or reduce the number of devices connected to the router.
- You can also use your phone's hotspot to check if the issue is with the network.
Notes
- It only supports 38KHz frequency. If the IR remote is unable to receive commands from the IR device, it is likely that the frequency of the IR device does not match, preventing command learning.
- DIY mode does not support voice control.
