Safety First
⚠️ WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
AVERTISSEMENT! COUPER LE COURANT AU NIVEAU DES FUSIBLES OU DU DISJONCTEUR.
Preparation
Before beginning installation, ensure power is disconnected at the fuse box or circuit breaker. Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clean area. Keep small parts organized to prevent misplacement.

- Rod W30-H-66A x1 (F3)
Assembling the Fixture with Chain Loop
Step 3: Place the metal cover (E) over the threaded rod (G).
Step 4: Determine the desired hanging height. Thread rods (F1, F2, and F3) onto the threaded rod (G). Attach the canopy (C) by screwing it onto rod (F1). Pass the fixture wires carefully through each rod during assembly.
Step 5: Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) using the mounting screws (B). Ensure the side of the mounting plate (A) marked "GND" and the two convex points face outwards.
Step 6: Use the provided support cable (R) to hold the fixture's weight while wiring. Align the fixture to the mounting plate (A) and attach the hook (Q) on the end of the support cable (R) to a slot on the mounting plate (A). Allow the support cable (R) to bear the fixture's weight.
Connecting the Wires
Step 7: Connect the electrical wires as illustrated in [Diagram 2]. Ensure all wire connectors are securely fastened.
- Connect the fixture's ground wire (bare copper) to the house's ground wire (green or bare copper).
- If no house ground wire is present, connect the fixture's ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the provided green screw.
- Connect the fixture's smooth/black wire to the house's black (hot) wire.
- Connect the fixture's ribbed/white wire to the house's white (neutral) wire.
Step 8: Carefully tuck the wire connectors into the junction box.
Completing the Installation
Step 9: Position the canopy (C) over the mounting plate (A) and secure it with screws (D).
Step 10: Thread the threaded rod (K) to the coupling (H) and tighten with the hex nut (J). Adjust the hex nut position if necessary.
Step 11: Install four medium base bulbs (I), up to 100 watts each, or CFL or LED equivalents. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
Step 12: Place the glass shade (L), plastic washer (M), and metal plate (N) onto the threaded rod (K). Secure with the hex nut (J).
Step 13: Screw the finial (P) into the threaded rod (K) until tight.
Your installation is now complete. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.
Note: Illustrations in this manual are for installation guidance and may not precisely match the purchased fixture.
Diagram Descriptions
[Diagram 1]: Overall Assembly and Mounting
This diagram illustrates the complete assembly process. It shows how the mounting plate (A) attaches to the junction box, how the rods (F1-F3) connect to the threaded rod (G) and canopy (C), and how the support cable (R) with hook (Q) provides temporary support. It also details the final assembly steps involving the coupling (H), hex nut (J), glass shade (L), washer (M), metal plate (N), and finial (P).
[Diagram 2]: Wiring Connections
This diagram shows the electrical connections required. It specifies how to connect the fixture wires (Black/Smooth, White/Ribbed, Bare Copper Ground) to the corresponding house wires (Black/Hot, White/Neutral, Green/Ground). It emphasizes securing wire connectors and grounding the fixture properly.
