HITCH BIKE RACKS

Maximum load capacity: 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg)

Step 1

Prepare the bike rack by opening it to the working position. [arrow left] [arrow right]

Step 2

Move the folded bike rack onto a flat surface, such as a table. [dashed arrow]

Step 3

Secure the bike rack on the table. Insert and tighten the provided screws into the designated points. [manual operation]

Step 4

Using the T25 key [T25 key], attach the light housing components to the bike rack. Ensure the rotating mechanism is engaged correctly. [rotate]

Step 5

Attach the light units (A, B) to the designated positions on the bike rack. Connect the cables (C, D) as shown. Ensure connections are secure [ok] and not loose [Not ok].

Components:

• 2x 4mm Allen Key [4mm key]

Step 6

Secure the cables using the provided clips [clip] (A, B). Connect the main cable harness to the light units.

Check connections: [ok], [Not ok]

Step 7

Attach the remaining components using screws. Route the cables neatly along the frame, maintaining a minimum distance of 1.2 inches (30 mm) from moving parts.

Quantities:

• 10x Screws [screw]
• 8x Screws [screw]

Step 8

Connect the electrical connectors. Ensure the correct polarity is observed for each connection. [arrow left] [arrow right]

Step 9

Secure the cables using the provided ties [cable tie] (A, B). Ensure a minimum clearance of 0.4 inches (10 mm) is maintained between the cables and any moving parts.

• 2x Cable Ties [cable tie]

Step 10

Attach the light plate to the light units (A, B).

Step 11

Secure the light plate to the bike rack using the provided screws and the T25 key [T25 key].

Quantities:

• 2x Screws [screw]

Step 12

Attach the license plate (e.g., A123) to the light plate. Connect the main electrical connector to the vehicle's trailer socket.

Quantities:

• 2x Screws [screw]

Step 13

Mount the Thule Epos Light & Plate Kit onto your vehicle's hitch. [arrow left]

Step 14

Perform a final check of all connections and ensure the kit is securely attached. Register your product online at www.thule.com/register.
